I made this EP during lockdown in 2020, mainly between may and august. This whole year was super hard for me, I was only thinking about starting transitioning but I was scared. I was super depressed and tired, and I wanted to put all those feels somewhere.

Also I wasn't able to work on other music project because of voice dysphoria. That's why I made this and worked a lot on vocals and effects.

It's a sad record, but I want to know i'm getting better. I kept it for myself but I remember all the music made by transgirls that helped me going through all of it. So I decided to publish it, for you my sisters. If you're also going through that, believe in a better future, it exists.

J'ai fait cet EP pendant le confinement en 2020, principalement entre mai et août. Cette année était terriblement difficile pour moi. Je ne pensais qu'à commencer une transition, mais j'étais terrifiée. J'étais très déprimée et fatiguée, et je voulais mettre tous ces ressentis quelque parts.

Je n'étais également pas capable de travailler sur d'autres projets musicaux à cause de dysphorie vocale. C'est pourquoi j'ai fait ceci en essayant de trouver une voix et en utilisant beaucoup d'effets.

C'est un EP triste, mais sachez que ça va mieux. Je l'ai gardé pour moi pendant plusieurs années, mais je me suis souvenue de toute la musique faite par des meufs trans qui m'a aidée à traverser tout ça. Alors j'ai décidé de publié cet EP, pour les soeurs. Si vous traversez aussi tout ça, croyez en un futur meilleur, car il existe.

Parisian producer De Grandi is back for his third EP, 11-100-JAILLE. The Paradoxe Club founding member, now based in Brussels, moves away from his mothership to release on another Parisian imprint, TV Showw, following releases from Jamal Moss, Filter Dread and Yung Acid.

Opening track 'TTP' sets things off with a peaceful and baroque ascent before a brutal and sudden industrial drop. 'Laguna' then loops through neon tunnels, with sharp turns and a glowing trance-esque arpeggiator, before 'Mercé La Zone' reduces the speed and gently enters an introspective black hole, where time warps and space stretches.

'My Volvo, My Rules (-555- Mix)' once again picks up the pace, rapidly accelerating with abrupt turns through a war zone where Shaolin-droids fight with laser guns. Eventually the bright tones of '2,75 €' signal that the war is over and darkness is behind us. The wagon runs straight towards something that looks like the gates of paradise. Make way for the light, the majestic, the sublime.

11-100-JAILLE has already garnered support from the likes of Simo Cell, Object Blue, Peder Mannerfelt, Bruce, Florentino, Joe, Teki Latex, Beatrice Dillon and Minor Science, among others.
