Ben Reel - Ben Reel Band Before Your Time

I found this 1/4" recording of one of the Must See irish bands of the late 70's in the vaults of RTE Radio archives a few years ago & the tape is sliced into the various tracks recorded on the night......The recording  was made in RTE Radio Studio 1 in front of an audience of about 120 people & I suspect recorded straight to 1/4" tape, as there are a lot of bits that could have been improved in the mix if it was a more modern recording.....having said that, the studio was equipped with a 16 track 2" Studer + dolby  at the time...... If anyone has any problems with this material being on Soundcloud, please let me know, otherwise please enjoy a band you may have loved then....&  some of them are still playing local gigs in Dublin
