Lola Kite is ontstaan als een project onder de vele muziekprojecten van Keez Groenteman, Jasper Verhulst en Bram Vervaet. Inmiddels is het uitgegroeid tot hun hoofdactiviteit. Lola Kite is niet een band met een strakke rolverdeling. Keez doet de leadzang, Jasper speelt de meeste bas en Bram heeft het vaakst een gitaar in zijn hand. Maar de batterij synthesizers, sitars en samplers wordt op het podium en in de studio eerlijk onder het trio verdeeld. Eigenlijk kunnen deze multi-instrumentalisten met alles uit de voeten.
