after visiting Defqon 1 2012 with his friends Hessel fell head over heels in love with Hardstyle. he simply couldn't think of anything else and it quickly became an 'obsession'. Q-base 2012 sealed the deal and that's when he decided to start making this music himself. having had some experience producing Drum&Bass and Hardcore he picked it up fairly quickly although he's still facing one of the biggest challenges in producing Hardstyle : making kicks! However, he determined and honers his surname: Stavast. which means standing by what you want, and not letting go! even if it takes 5 more years, expect to hear more from Excitah!
