The identity of the SLV project is not well-defined, but rather takes on many shapes and forms, covering a range of dark moods and cold grooves. Born in east Berlin, the city's brutalist architecture, its concrete monoliths and dreary streets helped shape this artists sound, which remains a unique take on an ever-changing genre. His releases on Soma and Pls.UK among others are a testament to his consistent output, just as his frequent stints in clubs all around Europe demonstrate his prowess as a performer. Enjoy these 60 minutes of intensity!

Crimson beats pulsing through the night, percussive cascades bursting into being, steady rhythms emerging from the void. From the very edge of our postmodern battlefields,  an artist going by the name of Vergil has emerged to serve his audience some sorely needed sonic clarity. Over a lifetime of musical studies and performances in the more analogue fields of percussion, the young DJ and producer was already able to fabricate an intriguingly recognizable body of sound. Over the course of a few years the resident of Strictly Forbidden, one of Berlin’s hedonistic insider tips, has constructed and nurtured his very own vision of electronic music in his studio to serve the raving nation some serious business.



Technoid sounds framed in raw textures and welted in gloomy soundscapes, creating an almost morbid atmosphere. Delicate sonic aesthetics set in strict and stringent form, pushing its audience’s heartbeats continuously straightforward. If Blade Runner had been set in the dystopian Berlin of the not so far future,  rather than the City of Angels, Vergil would’ve quite certainly written the soundtrack.
