Marking the first remix package from Marco Faraone’s 2020 ‘No Filter’ LP, Radio Slave recruits fellow dance music titans Chris Liebing and Mathew Jonson for a pair of remixes on one of dance music’s most essential imprints.

Liebing steps up for the A-side, delivering a knockout take on the original. Creeping ambience and deep bass weight bubble throughout the track as additional percussion and synthesis unravel towards a climactic finish.

On the flip, Jonson turns in a distinctively delicate version, clocking in just shy of twelve minutes. Fluttering percussion swirl around off kilter chords and vocals to craft a hypnotic, dream-like atmosphere.

We welcome back our good friend Karotte with his first release on Break New Soil in over a decade! „XTC“ is pure Karotte dancefloor fire - weird, powerful and beautiful! On remix duties, we are psyched to have our good friend Jeroen Verhej aka Secret Cinema, who really needs no introduction to techno heads around the planet, and he delivered exactly what we've been hoping for: A relentless big-room Techno rework - boom! The second original track by Karotte is called „Drive“, and it's on the deeper side of things, yet not less intriguing at all. Welcome back home, Peter!

Tel-Vivian born Israeli artist Yotam Avni has been a constant presence in the electronic music circles for some time now.  With an uncanny knack of pumping out club bangers alongside more edgy and experimental techno, Avni has popped up with stellar releases for the likes of Innervisions, Ovum, Hotflush Recordings, Stroboscopic Artefacts, SCI+TEC and loads more.
 
His debut for Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains imprint pulls together three cuts on the ‘Phuture’ EP.  
 
‘Acid Avni’, as the title suggests, splurges acidic tones over a dense and driving percussive techno groove, as layers of tones nonchalantly drift over.  Rumbling drums and an ominous and industrially charged mood is set on ‘Phuture’, whilst EP finale, ‘Terrorist’, goes even deeper with an apocalyptic and brooding vibe.

The kick drums of tomorrow once again begin to rumble in the smog infested, strobe stricken clubs of today. Kompakt’s Speicher series always strives to provide the dance floors with a soundtrack to grant our mind and body temporary refuge and escape. We feel it is more than ever needed considering the darkness that surrounds us all in these times.

We welcome back Marc Romboy. A gifted producer, DJ and friend that has been behind the decks as a key supporter of Kompakt’s music since the beginning. Beyond that, Marc is an astute musician, with releases on many of the esteemed; from Ovum to Innervisions and of course his own Systematic Recordings his music is incredibly varied.

They say that the third time is a charm but in this case he returns to our Speicher series again with a two track EP that feels more like a sequel that is true to the excellent consistency of his previous output. Armed only with a Buchla Music Easel, the Roland TR-909 and an Arp 2600, “Randomized” is pure techno as it tweaks and twists into a complete frenzy. Marc pays homage to the legendary Californian synthesizer inventor Don Buchla with the very trippy churner, “Monsieur Buchla”.

Planned and intended to come into existence for almost 15 years now, Puestels' ‘Exhibition’ imprint combines the intrinsic exposure of his artistic repertoire, the vast unreleased material from his vault back stock and the visual artistic streak of exclusively crafted paintings for each record, providing a dignified completeness of art and a general haptic experience. ‘Exhibition’ represents Rico throughout the realms of his widespread techno modes, enriched with his in-depth compositional pathos to form a force of an unbound essence and unbridled passion, paving the way for consecutive exhibits throughout the realms of ‘Exhibition’.

‘Exhibit 1.1’ kicks off proceedings with evolving, melodic structures fused with sweeping synths and effervescent, rolling drums before trance-inducing modulations, thrashing percussion and mesmerising leads in the distance are expertly deployed in ‘Exhibit 1.2’. Euphoric oscillations, growling mechanics and acid-tinged synthesis continue within ‘Exhibit 1.3’ until ‘Exhibit 1.4’ rounds off proceedings with glistening melodies alleviating the senses and euphonious sonics sending you into oblivion.
