Different is a jump-up face melter with a bit of weight behind it - distorted mids, tight percussion, and a mixdown that’s clean but still hits hard. Built with DJs in mind, made for fast blends, double drops, and loud systems.

I’m absolutely buzzing to welcome KlumzyKhemist to my label Banished Beats with her debut release Audiotrip - and even more proud to say this is our first release from a female producer. 

Klumzy’s been a force in the Drum & Bass scene for years, with high-energy, genre-bending sets that have torn up stages at Boomtown, XOYO, Outlook Asia Tour, and residencies with Jungle Cakes and Motion Sickness. I’ve been waiting to hear her step into production, and she’s smashed it 🔥

Audiotrip is pure Klumzy energy - starting with a driving 4x4 pulse, building techno tension before flipping into a heavy, rolling DnB drop. Tight drums, warped synths, and smooth transitions keep it moving, and just when you think you know where it’s going, the second drop hits with stomping four-to-the-floor techno madness 😈

It’s dark, it’s rave-ready, and it’s built for the rave. Trust me - this one’s a proper trip.

This one came together as a mash-up of the sounds that inspire me most. I wanted the heavy basslines and sharp breaks to carry that classic rolling jungle drive, but with a vocal hook that instantly grabs. The Spanish guitar was a conscious choice to bring something unexpected - a melodic twist that reflects my eclectic background and love for weaving different influences into DnB. For me, this one is about energy, culture, and volume 🔊
