i’m ready to enter into the remix competition! 

i had heard about this remix competition the first day it started, when a friend had shown me the twitter post about it. i immediately downloaded the stems and started listening to each individual one to get ideas. this song is so adorable OTL please enjoy this remix!

this is the first remix i have ever published. before, when i was a baby-vocaloid-user, i had made an arrangement of “CUPID.EXE” by strovi, and even now i still work on arrangements behind-the-scenes, but this is my first ever actual remix, my first ever derivative work that incorporates stems from the original song. i don’t know how to master though, so this is unmastered aside from a limiter i had used.

so, in actuality, while this uses hatsune miku v4x dark, i don’t actually have hatsune miku v4x. i did tune the vsqx file, but i gave it to my friend kazumi, who actually has her v4x voicebank, and they rendered it for me. thank you very much :)))

Hey everyone! How are you doing? Today, I present to you a cover of KIRA’s arrangement of “chiru chiru” by REOL, featuring Kagamine Len and some other members of the vocalo-family! I hope you like it!

I used to listen to this song a lot around the time that it came out, especially this arrangement since for a long while I would listen to a lot of Rachie and KIRA’s music more. I stopped listening to it for a while but found my appreciation for it again when I started playing all my music on shuffle while driving. Another tuning competition started again and I tested this song out with Len, and I really liked it, so I decided to make a full cover. The instrumental and download for this arrangement doesn’t seem to be up anymore, so I’m glad that I had downloaded it once it came out.

After making the cover art I realized that the outfit I put on Len is the same outfit on the illustration of Dariuski in his cover of the same song, a cover that I also listened to a lot at the time. I must have subconsciously been thinking of it, sorry. But the style of the art in the video for the original song and Dariuski’s cover were so cute that in 9th grade I would try to replicate it for characters and try to draw cute characters in the background. Anyways, as you can tell from the Powerpuff Girl legs, I can’t draw anatomy LOL.

I will not be distributing a VSQx or base for this cover, but I will be distributing a VPR, so it will be useful for people with VOCALOID 5 Editor. If there is a request for a VSQx, I will make one. The main reason I haven’t made a VSQx is because I made multiple VSQx’s to conserve memory, and then put all the tracks together in the VPR. Hello! It’s been a while haha, but I’m back to introduce a new family member, Saki AI!

I got her fairly recently, and since then I’ve had so so so many ideas of things to cover with her, so I’m very very excited, but I still have a couple other family members to debut as well.

I really love Saki’s voice, though her Gen 2 and Gen 3 are two different vocal personalities to me, though I love both, and I’m excited to showcase both of them.

I love Saki so much that I tried to make the cover art for this cover in the style of her signature image LOL

I really like this song and this was one of the first songs I ever played on osu!. I remember because I remember trying to pass the intro to the song without failing a lot LOL. I didn’t even know it was a reimagining of a touhou stage theme haha. I thought it would be a very fun song to cover with Saki, and I’m very happy there was an instrumental, despite it having some of the original singer’s vocals within it. I hope you enjoy it!

I love her so much more than I was expecting to and I'm really happy for her to be a part of my vocal synth family now. so i went to a record store recently and saw they had talking heads first album on vinyl. the band is kind of a meme between my friends and i so i picked it up and saw that this was the album that had psycho killer on it, which is a song that has been stuck in my head for a while now, so obviously i had to try and make an arrange LOL

the verses could use some work but i really like how the choruses turned out, so please stay for those if the verses aren't interesting haha. i was initially going to use my own voice, but something compelled me to use ci flower, so i tried that, but i really didn't want to have to make her sing in english as best as i could, so i made some really not great japanese lyrics LOL

i love ci flower's voice a lot though, especially in the new update because i think it brings back the charm she had in vocaloid despite not having as much strength in high notes.

this is not the first original song i've ever worked on, but this is the first one i'll be showing. truthfully, i don't like sharing wips because i like having a big unveil of the project. i like making a surprise. but i have so many wips and concepts now of original song ideas that if they were all finished products, i would be able to publish 3.5 albums, and that's JUST original song ideas, not arrangement cover wips which i also have a lot of. i'm too perfectionistic and i have adhd, so often times i get very anticipatory of being finished with the project and hyperfixating on it to the point that i lose interest, or i might even just not know how to continue something, ESPECIALLY in terms of lyric writing.

that's the issue i'm having with this song, but i don't want to have this issue anymore haha.

obligatory i am constantly working on things but never finishing them type deal, even things that are literally near completion (i hate having adhd). as you may know i'm a huge deco fan - a lot of his works resonate with me, but this one specifically is amongst the one's that i very much relate to - especially recently. which is why i pretty much made this cover in 2 hours, so i might remake it some time in the future LOL

you'll have to deal with my accent and otherwise, especially since i actually recorded this to the aimai elegy version with marina, and that one just has so much emotion in it that i think it brought out more emotion in my voice. THAT BEING SAID, being so emotive also meant i had less control of my pitch so there's that lol.

i stumbled across a cover of a remix version of this song and i really liked it, and it's again one of those songs where even though i don't sing very well in mandarin, i wanted to try. i think compared to starwish, the pronunciation in this one may be worse, and the performance as well just because of how focused i was on pronunciation.

that being said, i think this at least showcases my real voice for the most part - my voice that is quite nasal and despite being a baritone isn't terribly chest heavy or deep or mature. it is a voice that was developed by growing up singing mostly female pop with my mom and trying to mimic their voices and learned from their singing styles, and continues to mostly sing songs originally sung by higher range vocalists, despite my biology giving me the lower voice i have. i'm in the process of trying to accept my voice for it's weird quirks and stop breaking traits down to "feminine" and "masculine" and just allow it to be the way it is.

i recorded this when i was sick hence so much autotune, but i think it's a vibe, since this is one of my favorite clips i did. it is actually very difficult for me to like my voice, since, with the specific presentation that i would like to see and hear in my reflection being different, it gives me a bit of dysphoria. but, because i know it won't really change, i'm trying to learn to accept my voice as it is, especially since singing is definitely a coping mechanism of mine haha

I started writing this is 2023 and recently started revamping it. this is the current update.

I was upset with myself because I finally admitted to myself that I was idealizing someone again. I thought maybe I had a normal attachment to them and things were different. I feel like the more you recognize your pattern, the more shameful it feels when you find yourself in the same situation again. I started lamenting about how it felt like I am so easily able to disregard the real person there and think about all the ways he could fill in the gaps of what I need to provide myself.

it gets better though! and to that someone, I'm glad we're still friends even after I opened up about how I felt, and that helped me move forward.

side note, something about snare features remind me of funerals so there's a snare feature behind most of this track.

long time, no post! and, I'm back with another "coward mont blanc" cover LOL

it's existential dread taco!
this cover was intended to come out around the time of the anniversary of the song. in fact, i had uploaded a WIP of the cover to twitter, and, to my surprise, it gained a lot of support. it was that support that motivated me to try and actually finish this cover, and it was through twitter that yare had reached out to collaborate and make the art and animation for the PV. (please check out their art. it's super awesome!)

if it weren't for yare, i probably wouldn't have made a very interesting PV at all. but, because i was very grateful for their assistance, i really wanted to make something special! this is the first time i've put together what feels like an actual PV. it took some time due to my own schedule, but the process was as fun as it was complicated. i am proud of what we created, and i wanted to make something yare would be proud to have their art in!

i simplified the credits at the end of the video in order to better fit the frame, so please check out the more detailed credits at the bottom.

Hello everyone! I present to you, my newest cover, 「ネオネオン」, originally by DECO*27, featuring the amazing and incredible Luo Tianyi V4 Japanese! I love her voice. I hope you all like it too.

As you can probably guess, I really like DECO*27's music. It is my dream to one day be able to work alongside him, and I really don't know how to express my appreciation for his music. A lot of the projects that I hope to one day finally finish and share with you all are arrangements of songs of his which I really love as a way of expressing the love I have for his work. I'm not too good at making original things...one day though!

I really like this song, so I wanted to get it out asap, and I worked on the tuning prior to the instrumental finally being released. I don't have plans to post it on YouTube yet unless with this cover art, because I emailed OTOIRO to see if it would be okay a couple days ago, but they haven't replied, and I wouldn't feel right just using their PV, you know?

I learned how to make neon styled text just for this cover. It's not super great, but at least it doesn't look like clipart, which is enough for me LOL. Can you hear my voice in the cover? Annoying, right LOL? I haven't got the accent down that great.

Anyways, I really hope you all enjoy this. I don't have the base VSQx included in the downloads because I kinda ended up tuning along the way...I made a .mid file to work with in the beginning, but over time I realized I messed up the note timing. Bleh...

If you have been following me for a while now, you'll notice my heal me downloads aren't uploaded yet, which is because I honestly haven't wanted to organize them. They were kind of all over the place and a complete mess. I'll get to it though, may just take a bit. As for the "She's So Gone" Japanese cover with Rin, it seems the wip has gotten a lot of attention, and quickly! I hope to finish it, I'm just not sure about writing the Japanese lyrics as I am not super skillful in Japanese (though I've had to write a lot of Japanese customer support request emails recently so I don't know LOL).

Hello everyone! I have something special to share today! It's a cover of "gears of love" by lettuce and giga, which I have tuned with miss Megurine Luka! As soon as I heard this song, I immediately thought it would be perfect for Luka, right?? This cover is actually for a tuning competition, so I worked so hard on the tuning, that my style actually changed a bit. I feel as though a lot of people don't appreciate Luka's voice, especially her V4x bank, so I wanted to try to make a good example of what using her EVEC properties can sound like too. Because of that, I started tuning in VOCALOID4Editor, then added EVEC properties in Piapro Studio, then did some finishing touches in VOCALOID5Editor; though, I did create the vsqx in Piapro Studio, just because I like having all my notes at a velocity of 32-40 to start off with.

Recently I've been doing this new style for cover art! I kinda dig it! Let's see how many versions of the same cover art I can push out until I run out of options LOL

I still need to find something to use Miku NT for...but that's for another day haha.
