After a busy summer, Bart&Baker are back with a solid package of tracks, remixed by the rising German producer Timo Jahns, who caused quite a buzz this year with his official release on Get Physical's sub-label Poesie Musik of an official rework of Sade's classic "Pearls". Timo has lent his magic fingers on two Bart&Baker tracks, featuring former Joe T Vanelli vocalist Pheel Balliana.

"Invincible" is a dark and sexy tune, while "Windows Of The World" is a more sophisticated entry in Bart&Baker catalogue.

Both tunes have been already selected by DJ Ravin from Buddha Bar for his forthcoming compilation.

The 5th chapter in Sol Selectas annual compilation Summer Sol is here, and in these surreal times we all now live in, good healing music is needed more now than ever before. The journey takes you from meditative chill out to blissful downtempo to mid tempo spiritual to Afro tribal to Deep house to organic tech. Original vocals are sung in over 8 different languages and we hear instruments from regions all over the World.

This collection of artists on one project, represent how we as humanity are all in this together, and should not separate ourselves with imaginary lines called borders. Unified in dance, and spiritual energies, we can all achieve a higher more active state of consciousness, and transcend useless politics and class division.

The artwork by Helia Jamali represents the musical joy of summer, and the playful energy we receive from the Sun’s energy.

PREMIERE: Chambord - Lily's Life [Sol Selectas]

Santino Surfers walks the sunny latitudes of guitar music legacy to concoct an amorphous blend of chilled-out, soulful, and melodically lavish material. Imagine twangy 60’s black and white guitars splashed with neon color and dusty country rock curls in distorted gleam.

The ‘surf’ sound is prevalent throughout the work (hence the name), setting the dial at laid back, grooving and liberated moods that probe the frontiers of the psychedelic. The music is mostly instrumental with occasional visits by vocals and vocoders.

‘Three Corners One View’ is the second single. It sits comfortably bopping on an upbeat break, steady bass waving while guitars paint sweet and dreamy figures in the afternoon sky.

A few more singles will follow, leading up to a full-length album release on Music For Dreams. Special thanks to Koda Kultur & Musikforlæggerne for supporting this project.
