This track was born out of experimenting in our new studio, the sounds were created by playing around with guitars and violin bows, manipulating these to create atmospheres. 

We wanted to bring the tempo down from the usual 170bpm to give more room for editing the drums to an extent that fitted the track.

As it's a move in a slightly new direction for us we wanted to treat how we put the track out differently as well. This hasn't gone to any labels or 3rd parties (yes we will still be working with labels), barely any of our friends have even heard it. We wanted to be able to get this to fans of our music with no waiting, no fussing around, no bullshit.

M-Soul & S27 are both 27 years of age, they were born and raised in Sint-Niklaas and they love their drum and bass minimal and deep. You probably know this already, though. In the last 12 months they’ve delivered some straight up damagers on the likes of Vandal and Flexout. Prior to that they’ve featured on the likes of Proximity, Blendits, Halogen and Surfase. With clear dubby roots and occasional ventures towards the soulful and mellow, they’ve been repping the deeper side of Belgian D&B for almost eight years.
