I've just been caught dancing in the field at the back. Oh God please- The shame! I've discovered this and had to just had to stomp my feet to the beat as i walked. Next thing this riff caught me in the pelvic area and I felt my body pop. Next thing my arms flung themselves - i swear, right in the air and in that moment, I quite lost myself. But then found myself again quite quickly in the steely brow furrowed glare of a completely weirded out and I think fairly scared passer by. Oh my life! X

I wanted to do this one for a long time. All my favourite softrock classics in one continous mix, spiced up with some genre-like tunes from the here and now. 
While traveling on a german train the other day, apperently lightning struck (the sky was blue as far as I could see) causing the train to stop for several hours out in the open. While lynch mob parties began to form with the intention to take it out on the conductor, I was still mixing away with my headphones on and a stupid smile on my face - quite out of context actually. In fact I go so into it that I almost forgot to get of at Berlin main station. 
So here it is, hope you have as much fun listening as I had putting it togehter.

✈ To celebrate this new episode, we are proud and delighted to host such an iconic figure from the Berlin Techno scene : INLAND (Counterchange Recordings/Figure).

Known for his explorative techno and ambient productions, he’s released numerous EPs on his home label Counterchange, appeared on Ostgut Ton, Figure, Infrastructure, and released his debut LP on Ostgut Ton sub-label A-TON.

Working closely alongside US artist Function between 2014 and 2017, the pair released the comeback record for Function's Infrastructure label, with their now-legendary 'Odeon / Rhyl' EP and went on to compile the heavyweight 'Facticity' compilation, also teaming up on the soaring 'Colwyn Bay' in 2016. 

In 2020 Inland presented a 4 x 12'' box-set compilation and DJ mix entitled 'Stream State', featuring music from contemporaries like Efdemin, Peter Van Hoesen, Joel Mull, DJ Skull, Mark Broom and many more. This was closely followed by the full-length LP, 'Potential Current' (COUTER016), and 2 acclaimed EPs of up-temp, peak-time tracks in 2022, 'Namsan' and the BRETT offshoot label (BRETT001), igniting some of Davenport's most frenetic work to date.
