Des & Droosie's Spring Selection 2021

Everything stopped. Well, not everything. 

But we all kinda froze in place; had to.

I became a dad. I quit a bad job and replaced it with a great one. 

Finally, after months lying dormant, the clouds lifted and my love of music returned.

We're vaccinated now. Immune, as far as we know. Ready, tentatively, to start moving again.

This set is full of tracks which would sound good alongside the landscape gliding past the window of a train, or on the sweep of a freeway winding out of the mountains, or maybe whilst peering down through the clouds at the winding course of a great river.

It's an awakening.

EXOENDO is a Bay Area-based DJ, vocalist, and producer, with a sound that spans the spectrum—from bold, high-energy sets filled with soulful melodies, tribal basslines, and vibrant frequencies, to chill, expansive beats that shift the mood and stretch the moment. Whether spinning bangin’ Drum & Bass, soulful Breaks, funky House, moody Techno, or ethereal Downtempo, EXOENDO always takes the dance floor on a journey. A lifelong musician, EXOENDO’s roots as a singer, songwriter, and classical guitarist laid the foundation for her global and genre-crossing style.
