If you’re familiar with his sound then you’ll know his music is all about having fun and creating something people can dance to. From his link up with the immense vocal talent of Ruth Royall on “Hold On”, to the awesome jump up/dancefloor hybrid of “Need Me”. This will be one of our special RESIDENT TAKEOVER episodes! Each Resident Takeover is going to have a chosen resident from the POLARIS team that will be taking over the full 2hrs of Polaris Radio. They will be showcasing their music/mixing/and favorite tracks to play live!

Our resident takeover this time is from one of our newest additions to the Polaris roster, enjii! He might be new to the world of mixing & DJing but he’s a seasoned fan of the rave scene for over 10yrs and aims to channel that knowledge and love of the scene into his music and sets. He has a simple goal with each set he does; make it fun, sexy and powerful while keeping the sounds fresh and the peoples feet moving. He also just made his club debut recently here in SF playin at the prestigious Halcyon SF opening for the legendary Low Steppa. Be sure to keep an eye out for any upcoming shows hes playing at! This set starts with a supporting MC, blazes through a mash-up of Drummatic Twins re-releases (thanks Nick), followed by my BOC 2023 release Shake That Thing, stops in with some Nick Thayer, bounces through my Eminight’s Doom bootleg, then settles in for an Elite Force medley (thanks Simon) that ends with playing the CDJ like an instrument. Brass Monkey gets us back on track heading towards a half time grind and shake, then resetting with a classic breakbeat, ending with my latest release, a Tears For Fears bootleg.

We had the absolute honor & privilege to perform at the Daybreaker SF: Peace Tour located at the breathtaking Grace Cathedral. This is the live 2-hour recording (Dancing Mandy is the first half, DJ Denise is the second half). Thank you for listening!

Playing Daybreaker at Grace Cathedral was incredibly meaningful for me on so many levels. Growing up singing in church choir was my first connection to music, so being able to DJ in a house of worship (in my wedding dress!) really brought my musical journey full circle. I thought deeply about what to play, and decided that it was really important to play soulful, uplifting house music, the music that unapologetically spreads love in the face of judgement, the music that was created (and still is) to bring fellowship to so many Black, gay, and other marginalized groups when organized religion did not support them. For so many, house music IS church — the only church where they feel 100% loved and accepted for who they are. Bringing these seemingly two diametric opposites under one roof was a powerful experience and I’m so grateful to Daybreaker and Grace Cathedral for making it happen. So as Jack said…Let There Be House!

EXOENDO emerged into the San Francisco music scene when Rachel Vita performed her first DJ set in 2014. She brings her unique ability to take her audience on a voyage through sounds and genres, spanning the spectrum from melodic melodies to world tribal beats, deep organic house, dark spacey moody shifts of multi-layered delight, astro electronica, psychedelic goodness, sexy liquid drum and bass, starry night breaks, booty shaking trap, and soul expansive sunset downtempo. 

With her roots in music as a singer, songwriter and composer of music, it was when Rachel studied classical and Flamenco guitar the spark for world music ignited along with her travels across Europe and throughout India. She continued to tap into another layer of music when she worked with sound as medicine, creating the somatic musical experience called Transplant Journeys. In these journeys she leads guided meditations for her participants layered with music that she weaves together with sound healing frequencies for somatic and emotional release and activation. 

EXOENDO is most in her element serving up music at campouts, renegades, at Burning Man, and in venues throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area. 

Rachel encourages listeners to enjoy her sets while on long back road drives, viewing the passing sights or with headphones preferably in nature where the listener can soak up the benefits of being outside, steeping in the energy of plants, trees, sun, moon and stars. 

A DJ resident with First Love, Strategik and the Ambient Mafia, Rachel appreciates the platform to keep exploring her artistry and expressing through the different frequencies of music she weaves together.
