DJ Balaton continues to carve out his part in the puzzle with a fresh 4-tracker on LQL <3. With a nostalgic nod to Frankfurt, the producer shows that it doesn’t take much, just the right touch, to install a badass groove. Spacious arrangements and carefully placed synths turn the EP into an echo of a different time in the club.

The title track “Back To The Mood” orbits around that secret open-air energy - one of those full-circle cuts for the crew. You are missing the water, baby is all there is to say about “Flow Key”, rolling away at 127, disguised but with energy. “Reso 02” is the track we all wanted to finish but never did, grooving along with restrained intensity, shaping the EP into something personal and unique. Closing off, “Push Yourself” is Geoff White meets Herbert in a club-ready outfit.

We're delighted to welcome Greek producer Anber to Ready Mix Records for release number 224, comprising 3 original tracks plus remixes from Soire, Kiano and Kaan Koray.

Creating his own flavor of chilled electronic music with a global twist, Anber has previously released on Shango, Exotic Refreshment and Art Vibes Music among others.

Opening cut 'Charisma' combines Eastern strings and percussion with a deliberate, pulsing groove and a heavy bass-drone for satisfying musical meditation. 

Soire (aka Moe Turk) introduces a slightly Housier rhythm pattern, lush chords and a deep bass-line to 'Charisma', letting Anber's original strings provide a sumptuous, albeit distant, backdrop.

'Eikones' heads into more dramatic territory with insistent synths and a heavy kick leading the way into swirling North African atmospheres, building to a heady crescendo. 

Croatian beat-maker Kiano turns in a rolling Afro club version of 'Eikones', purring with class.

Finally, 'Karma' rounds off the package nicely with a straight-up rhythm pattern, mysterious Eastern synths and a spacious arrangement. 

Turkish brothers Kaan Koray deliver some subtle magic to 'Karma', summoning up ancient dance-floor Gods over 9 minutes of heaven.
