Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

He did not sleep for a long time. When he did he had dreams of Endless Spirals. They were good dreams until the one that woke him. He got up then and went direct from that dream to work. He was well into the new story before the sun came up out of the sea and he did not look up from where he was to see how red the sun was. In the story he waiting for the moons to rise and he felt his dog’s hair rise under his hand as he stroked him to be quite and they both watched and listened as the moon came up and gave them shadows. His arm was around the dog’s neck now and he could feel him shivering. All of the night sounds had stopped. They did not hear the elephants and he did not see her until the dog turned his head and seemed to settle into her. Then the elephant’s shadow covered them and he moved past making no noise at all and they smelled him in the lights wind that came down from the mountain. Veytik came down with the light winds and the smell of the Moon. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can put spirals into your deepest dreams. Elias Fassos & Risk (GR), Soble and Serkan Eles are enjoying their time with elephants between space and light.

The afternoon had been filled with old friends and lovers sharing everything that had gone on for years between us and around us. Irina sat next to me, holding my hand on occasion and regaling me with stories of Pasha and their lives in Russia. The ups and downs of it all. The way they were treated when in favor and the hardships of being held accountable for those things she had no way of controlling. Irina would get up and wander around the house looking at everything. She opened medicine cabinets and looked in closets. She sat and cried looking at her own picture on my desk and that of our daughter, when she was really young. During a lull in the conversation when everyone was just about talked out, she leaned over to me. “I have grown older. I don’t look like that picture anymore.” “I can’t tell the difference myself.” I hugged her. “You are such a liar, but don’t stop! It does my vanity good to hear that someone thinks I am still pretty.” She blushed and swept her long hair back from her face. “I won’t ever lose you again. I will bring down the thunder from heaven before that happens.” I said with conviction and absolute belief. Exei bring the sands of time to your most beautiful dreams. This is his first offering for Shango Records. This track can create a bouquet full of tears. Dest, Haris Kate, Landegaard and Socko are travellers of time.
