Minimal Mystic is a new music label. Our purpose is to collect unique audio recordings from many different cultures and traditions of our world in order to combine special “Various Artists Eps” music collections with separate ethnographic subjects and elements of our sound banks. With the aim to experiment with those recordings we’re striving to create special tracks into Downtempo and Midtempo Organic & Minimalistic electronic waveforms. In our fifth music journey we’ve got some amazing recordings by traditional African tribes. Africa’s music tradition is one of the richest traditions in the world combining a huge portion of different styles, rhythms, voices and music instruments. Without a doubt Africa is probably the motherland of all sounds as music floats forwards and backwards to the continent (bringing back influences from other traditions) throughout the years of slavery and flourish into a unique and amazingly beautiful outcome. For this journey we’ve invited four quality artists of the Downtempo/Organic-House/Electronica scene to get inspiration and use these recordings in order to come out with their own tracks. The end result is purely magic as we travel from Greece to Italy and from Germany to USA with a kaleidoscope of sounds and moods. Anber, Ka:lu, M.Age.Poroject and Veytik are the pilots for this amazing journey into past, present and future by Minimal Mystic Records. Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown in the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a label from the land of the Ancient Greeks: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music trip outside traditional paths with driving grooves and polyphonic structures that are seeking dancers to Dionysian highs and places never seen before.

The Blue Nile Falls is a waterfall on the Blue Nile river in Ethiopia. It is known as Tis Abay in Amharic, meaning "Smoke Abay". It is situated on the upper course of the river, about 30 kilometres (19 mi) downstream from the town of Bahir Dar and Lake Tana. The falls are one of Ethiopia's best-known tourist attractions. The falls are 42 metres consisting of four streams that originally varied from a trickle in the dry season to over 400 meters wide in the rainy season. A short distance downstream from the falls sits the first stone bridge constructed in Ethiopia, built at the command of Emperor Susenyos in 1626. According to Manuel de Almeida, stone for making lime had been found nearby along the tributary Alata, and a craftsman who had come from India with Afonso Mendes, the Catholic Patriarch of Ethiopia, supervised the construction. This is the new Shango Records compilation entitled “The Blue Waterfalls Of The River Nile”. Seventeen beautiful tracks to fall in love with.
