The 'Chaal' (melody) of Deerag TriBhangi Chandd from Sri Akal Ustat. Bhai Sukha Singh UK and I were chilling one day and he discussed this 'chaal'.. I can't get it out of my head- it's awesome.

Every Stanza or Chandd has it's own melody in Sri Dasam Gurbani. This is how Sri Dasam Guru Granth Sahib Ji Santhiyaa is taught in Dal Panths (Nihang Singhs).

ਜਬ ਜਬ ਹੋਤਿ ਅਰਿਸਟਿ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਜਦੋਂ (ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਜਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ) ਦੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ('ਅਰਿਸਟਿ') ਬਹੁਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਦੇ ਹਨ,
Whenever numerous tyrants take birth,

ਤਬ ਤਬ ਦੇਹ ਧਰਤ ਅਵਤਾਰਾ ॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਤਦੋਂ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਦੇਹ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Then the Lord manifests himself in physical form

ਦੁਸਟ ਸਭਨ ਕੋ ਮੂਲ ਉਪਾਰਨ ॥੪੩॥
ਅਤੇ ਸੰਤਾ ਦਾ ਉੱਧਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾ ਨੂੰ ਜੜ੍ਰਹੋਂ ਪੁਟਿਆ ਜਾਏ ॥੪੩॥
(I have been born) to spread Dharma, and protect saints, and root out tyrants and evil-minded persons.43.

khag kha(n)dd biha(n)dda(n) khaladhal kha(n)dda(n) at ran ma(n)dda(n) baraba(n)dda(n) ||
ਤਲਵਾਰ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰਾ ਟੁਕੜੇ ਟੁਕੜੇ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾ ਦੇ ਦਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਯੁੱਧ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਸਜਤਿ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, (ਅਜਿਹੀ) ਬਲਵਾਨ ਹੈ।
The sword chops well, chops the forces of fools and this mighty one bedecks and glorifies the battlefield.

ਭੁਜ ਦੰਡ ਅਖੰਡੰ ਤੇਜ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡੰ ਜੋਤਿ ਅਮੰਡੰ ਭਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੰ ॥
bhuj dha(n)dd akha(n)dda(n) tej pracha(n)dda(n) jot ama(n)dda(n) bhaan prabha(n) ||
ਇਹ ਅਖੰਡ ਤੇਜ ਵਾਲੀ ਭੁਜਦੰਡ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਤੇਜ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਦੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਕਿਆ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
It is the unbreakable staff of the arm, it has the powerful luster and its light even bedims the radiance of the sum.

ਸੁਖ ਸੰਤਾ ਕਰਣੰ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਦਰਣੰ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਹਰਣੰ ਅਸਿ ਸਰਣੰ ॥
sukh sa(n)taa karana(n) dhuramat dharana(n) kilabikh harana(n) as sarana(n) ||
(ਇਹ) ਸੰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀ, ਮਾੜੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਲਣ ਵਾਲੀ, ਪਾਪਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ, (ਮੈਂ) ਇਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਹਾ।
It brings happiness to the saints, mashing the vicious ones, it is the destroyer of sins and I and under its refuge.

ਜੈ ਜੈ ਜਗ ਕਾਰਣ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਉਬਾਰਣ ਮਮ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਰਣ ਜੈ ਤੇਗੰ ॥੨॥
jai jai jag kaaran sirasaT aubaaran mam pratipaaran jai tega(n) ||2||
ਹੇ ਜਗ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਰੂਪ! ਤੇਰੀ ਜੈ-ਜੈਕਾਰ ਹੋਵੇ, (ਕਿਉਕਿ ਤੂੰ) ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਬਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈਂ, (ਤਾ ਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ) ਹੇ ਤੇਗ! ਜੈ ਜੈ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੨॥
Hail, hail to the cause of the world, saviour of the universe, it is my preserver, I hail its victory. 2.
