Khordo

Destiny is a piece made from electronic audio materials created on an analog modular synthesizer following simple processes on signal treatment and the choice of a restrict palette as an aesthetic constraint, while keeping both an overall organic expressivity and a slightly des-articulated quality at the edge of compositional agency.

Variations and antecedents of this piece have been performed live in various electronic music festivals and events. The definitive version is a part of Sisbiosis, a collaborative album put together with the artist and musician Ryoko Akama, released in 2022 on Erstwhile records (US).

Cet été j’ai eu la chance de vivre un moment unique et hors du temps sur l’île d’Ouessant. 

L’endroit le plus à l’Ouest du continent européen. Auprès de personnes avec qui je me sent bien. Pendant trois jours. Le weekend de mes 29 ans. 

Voilà l’enregistrement de ce moment inoubliable d’un Dj set un peu particulier, au cours duquel je me suis laissé porté par le levé des nuages, le vent. Débuter avec de l’ambiant pour souffler sur les nuages et monter doucement pour appeler le soleil avant qu’il ne se couche à l’Horizon. Un dernier rayon de soleil avant l’euphorie de la nuit.

This summer I was lucky enough to experience a unique and timeless moment on the island of Ouessant.

The most westerly place on the European continent. With people I feel at home with. For three days. The weekend of my 29th birthday.
Here's the recording of that unforgettable moment of a rather special Dj set, during which I let myself be carried along by the rising clouds and the wind. Beginning with ambient to blow away the clouds, and gently rising to call the sun before it sets at Horizon. One last ray of sunshine before the euphoria of the night.
