Tamango Records' upcoming reference comes from young enfant-prodige Nathan Alzon: if we are to speak of rising talents, he's definitely one to look out for. The French-Taiwanese artist lands on the label for the first time with the classy and sleek 'Heartbreaker' EP, which follows previous releases on NO ART, What NxT, and Deeperfect. On the remix side, we welcome Spaniard revelation Rendher, who provides one of his gloomy, rolling numbers.

Closing the EP, Barcelona-based groover Rendher heads to stripped-back territories, twisting the original into a heads-down hammering tune. His remix features tight harsh grooves and booming bass tones, providing an essential late-night pumping jam.

Solid Grooves unveil their 2022 'Ibiza Sampler' as Michael Bibi and PAWSA invite seven of the label's residents and regulars for a huge summer offering.

2022 is shaping up to be a year to remember for Solid Grooves as they celebrate ten years in style with a host of stand-out shows, including OFF Sonar and Kappa Futur, alongside recent appearances at Space Miami, Fabric and Printworks.

However, the crown jewel in the programming undeniably comes via their biggest Ibiza season to date. With a move to renowned institution DC10 backed by lineups stacked full of talent, the collective only adds to things on the label front as they reveal their latest summer compilation. Opening the season in style, the nine-track 'Ibiza Sampler' welcomes the arrival of a stacked V/A with fresh heat from close friends and ever-impressing regulars.

In usual fashion, co-founders Michael Bibi and PAWSA contribute a pair of heavily-requested signature cuts, alongside peak-time and after-hours anthems from residents Dennis Cruz, Eddy M, Reelow, Ramin Rezaie and Bassel Darwish, plus label signees Classmatic and JUST2.

Of the nine tunes the late Avicii released with Vicious prior to him becoming a household name on the back of his crossover hit “Levels”, three were with French producer and DJ Sebastien Drums.
 
Sebastien, still very active in the dance music scene, connected us here at Vicious with fellow Frenchman Tony Romera after they were chatting about Tony remixing “Snus”.
 
Many emails and conversations later, and now approved by both Sebastien and the Avicii Foundation representatives, the new remix is the result. Tony takes the simple and always fantastic keyboard hook from the original “Snus” and teases it with a new chugging house groove providing the drive. A building tension flows through the mix and the hook musical line comes and goes as the track’s intensity grows throughout. The end result is a simple, but very effective club tune that perfectly respects the original elements. Already seeing support from A listers including Chris Lake, Martin Garrix and Mark Knight
