Working Title; a project in co-curation

In the postmodern world of today, the work of curators has become increasingly diverse. The job content has shifted from a simple model of guarding, keeping or acquiring a collection, to a compound model, adding the possibility of acquiring a semi celebrity status identity.

We are part of a generation that has spent their childhood growing up with an invisible third parent, the internet. We are able to discover music faster and easier than ever before. But even with all these options, an individual curator can never truly see the whole picture.

The idea for this project is simple and goes as follows;
Instead of curating artists ourselves, we will have others curate together. Our project can be seen as an exercise in joint curatorship. We have invited fourteen different collectives, labels and individuals who in their turn curated one artist.

Felt like it was time to let it go after testing an updated version as closing track of a super fun set with waltur. This also creates space in my head to start working and/or finishing on other tracks :)

𝙱𝚒𝚘𝚐𝚛𝚊𝚙𝚑𝚢 :	Hybrid hardcore producer and DJ. At the crossroads of her djing world, you will find a place where to pursue a core adventure. Depending on the path you follow, you might encounter some doomcore, gabber, industrial hardcore… harmonized with other of her current lighter favourite tracks. She blends a lot of subgenres together to build intensity and skirt expectations. 
Production wise, she navigates through harshness, distorsion and melodic emphasis while shaping contrast to bring elements out. 
„Don’t Call Me Maybe“ gathers gabber kicks, hardstyle leads, a relentless voice and some soothing harp by Ange Halliwell. The musician, from the verdant countryside of southwestern France, composes for his own project music combining hypnotic arpeggios, sound layers and voices sometimes sung, spoken or shouted. His creations are intimately linked to nature.
