Straight from the mystical lands of the town of Tepoztlán comes to Duro, Tierra de Ovnis with 'Conexión', a journey inspired by the association the place has with the UFOs. The abduction is accompanied by the cosmo’s guardians, Thomass Jackson and Juan To Tree.

"Connection" initiates the contact between the listeners, the UFOs, the mysterious pyramid of the archaeological zone and the psychedelia that inhabits the nature of the place. The delirious vocals, and the liquid percussions snatch you from reality and keep you hi, while the strings and synthesizers take you deep inside.

Calypso's warrior, Thomass Jackson, drives you to the mothership. The solid bass line, glitchy percussion and zero gravity vocals will make you wish the encounter would never end. Next comes Juan To Tree to give a soft tribal galactic touch to the original cut. The marciano percussions lead you delicately and steadily into the core of the mothership, where synths and senses merge making the experience more pleasurable.

Once the connection is made “Descenso” begins, sounds from outside this dimension help the listener to return to the earthly plane.

Ukraine’s AIKON meets Sobek in this masterful collaboration. A thumping breakbeat rhythm forms the backbone of this haunting track, where clanking chimes meander amidst shrill, bitcrushed, pitch-bending synth lines. A mystical breakdown lays down mellifluous flute motifs, brooding, buzzing bass and a mosquito of a synth hook that are all smashed into the ether when the pummeling rhythm kicks back into life. Play this loud, close your eyes, and you’ll be transported into another dimension.
Adrian Roman gets brutal on his heavy remix, drafting in huge tribal drum hits that are reminiscent of the Japanese taiko, contrasting their off-kilter rhythm with a solid deep techno backbone and really amping up the atmospheric melodic elements to potent effect. ID_UA takes things deeper on their remix, into more hypnotic territory where bleepy riffs and throbbing bass pummel you into submission, while Buba rounds off the reworks with a slick breaks version with a sci-fi edge that pushes the original into the depths of outer space.
