The prominent Swedish duo of Elfenberg returns to the label after featuring with the wicked “Kebabsyra”on Rotten Citizens Compilation Vol.4. They've recently released music on labels such as Les Yeux Orange, Feines Tier and Hard Fist. The return to Rotten City will see the light of the long awaited  “Elfenboogie EP”, containing three powerful peak time tracks with all the flavors they like: Acid, Disco and Tribal vibes. 

“Vasta La Hista” is a clear example of a club bomb. Direct, raw, and psychedelic. 100% effective but non generic! 

“Acid Cocoon’” dig into the darker vibes with a spooky and sexy female voice in a “Post-Electroclash” exercise.

With “Elfenboogie” they show us again their favorite elements; Percussion, drive, a soulful vocal and some random weirdness to top it off. "Let's do the Elfenboogie", "Come n Elfenboogie with us”, they always joked around with the term, that now is the title track on this very EP.

The release is complemented with a remix from Julian Sanza & Alvaro Cabana Remix. Both DJs residents at Kaputt Club (Bogotá) joining forces again to turn the Classic Disco vibe of “Elfenboogie” into a trippy and cosmic interpretation.

Hailing from the catacombs of Paris, Mon cher Guy and Zaratustra are joining forces in this new release! After throwing multiple parties with their collective Orchessons, and releasing tracks on various labels, they decided to gather in the studio to practice some musical witchcraft.
Blending electronic sonorities with some hints of 80s rock, they made extensive use of electric guitars, vintage drums and old-school synthesizers to create a nostalgic and mesmerizing feel. Despite all tracks being set in a dreamy and a nocturnal atmosphere, with the hurling wolves and vampires of « Night Creatures », or the eerie atmosphere of « Incantations », this EP is about melancholy, from « White Magic » opening the dance, full of hope and cheesiness, to the irrevocable « Nevermore » closing it.
Giving a trancy twist to « White Magic », we’re super pleased to welcome Brandski for the first time on the label, with this club-ready remix! And because we couldn't resist putting our fingers in the mix, label boi Austher also gave his epic Italo touch to « Night Creatures »

Enduro Disco strikes back with another distinctively different slice of electronic joy for Exploited. A cute Bollywood-reminiscent female vocal sample provides the colourful centrepiece of ‘Ciao’, where filtered, sidechained orchestral strings pulse beneath saccharine synth melody and heady FX and percussion conversations. A lazy bass groove combines with the optimistic melodies to create a dreamy, summery feel that has the innocence of childhood about it. The track builds brilliantly through shimmering percussion and fizzing chords to the most blissed-out and chilled of crescendos.
Biesmans pushes the button marked ‘Full Italo’ and sets the feel-good dial to ‘11’ on his spunky remix, pitching wiggling bass arpeggios against triumphant chords, deft ‘80s drums and spine-tingling melody. Set in this context, the vocal becomes a triumphant battle cry, and the layer upon layer of gorgeous synth magic propels the track into fist-pumping, joyous echelons.
Johannes Albert goes into a deeper disco place, lacing the languid original with flecks of gentle acidic bubbling and playful melodies. Big snare hits add a little weight to the warmth of the melodic parts, all in all making for another perfect summer jam. Instrumentals are provided to use at your discretion.

Melokolektiv, Konvex & the Shadow are back with their second release on Hosted. Once again the two talented producers from France created a really impressive track. A unique piece of Indie Dance that welcomes onboard Ryan Konline, an amazing California based vocalist.

Honestly, "Taxi Cab" is not the typical Indie Dance track you might have heard a thousand times. This track mixes all kinds of influences which makes it so unique. There is some funk, some house, some acid, and also some indie dance on this track. 
No doubt that Ryan Konline vocal will remind you of Jamiroquai or Mayer Hawthorne. It's optimistic, joyful and honestly, we needed it to go through the upcoming winter period. "Taxi Cab" is a great one for the dancefloor but it's also something you can listen at home. 

The Ep is completed by a killer remix from Shubostar. The talented South Korean producer takes another angle and delivers a wonderful piece of cosmic disco.
