Enduro Disco strikes back with another distinctively different slice of electronic joy for Exploited. A cute Bollywood-reminiscent female vocal sample provides the colourful centrepiece of ‘Ciao’, where filtered, sidechained orchestral strings pulse beneath saccharine synth melody and heady FX and percussion conversations. A lazy bass groove combines with the optimistic melodies to create a dreamy, summery feel that has the innocence of childhood about it. The track builds brilliantly through shimmering percussion and fizzing chords to the most blissed-out and chilled of crescendos.
Biesmans pushes the button marked ‘Full Italo’ and sets the feel-good dial to ‘11’ on his spunky remix, pitching wiggling bass arpeggios against triumphant chords, deft ‘80s drums and spine-tingling melody. Set in this context, the vocal becomes a triumphant battle cry, and the layer upon layer of gorgeous synth magic propels the track into fist-pumping, joyous echelons.
Johannes Albert goes into a deeper disco place, lacing the languid original with flecks of gentle acidic bubbling and playful melodies. Big snare hits add a little weight to the warmth of the melodic parts, all in all making for another perfect summer jam. Instrumentals are provided to use at your discretion.

Young gun Liam Mockrdige links with Lowheads featuring Johnny Kulo for a new single on Get Physical that comes with a remix from Jelico to make it another vital package. 

Mockrdige is based in Germany and brings special e-funk magic to his music. It encourages you to get down and dance and here he works with Lowheads, an Italian/Ghanian duo from the North of Italy's underground scene who mix New York’s funky disco and afro beat sounds with raw house. 

Their superb single ‘Mess Around’ received a release in July as a live mix but sees a full package here which opens with the excellent Club mix. It’s feel good, lush and organic house with real emotion, heart and soul. 

Swoon Recordings main man Jelico is one half of Get Physical duo Stereo.type and here offers a remix that has crisp house drums, drenches the vocal in echo and makes for a real classy and deep tune that will get hands in the air. 

This is a fantastically emotive and musical take on house music

2k20. What a year so far. We, the crew at the Hive Audio label offices, are pretty much certain that absolutely nothing rolled out as planned for anyone around the globe this year and that there hasn't been much time or opportunity for celebration for anyone out there in the electronic music community or beyond either – even though we had different things in mind, especially in regards of our 10 years anniversary as a label which we already heralded with the quadruple EP series „The First Ten Years“ rolled out equally through Hive Audio and its recently launched offspring Hive Audio Dark earlier this year.
