2019 closes with a selection of 14 Exploited tracks that went down like a storm. 
There is Dutch youngster Budakid who impressed with 3 releases for Exploited this year in the form of Adieu X, No Strings Attached and The End, label longstay Joyce Muniz who teamed up with Little Boots on Strange Girl in the remix treatment by Black Loops, Swedish newcomers NEAT who stand out with a sound all of its own that you’d be hard pressed to pin down, disco and house newbies T.U.R.F., old friend The Mekanism with a gentle summer jam, James Curd with 2 outstanding dancefloor bombs in the remix by Sandboards (Feel My Bicep) and Bas Roos, producer legend Arthur Baker and not to forget Enduro Disco with three tracks that vibrantly manifest his modern disco desires.
All in all this is a great eclectic dreamy dance compilation by one of the leading deephouse labels out there.

Across a string of well received records on Seth Troxlers Play It Say It, 20/20 Vision and Moan Recordings, The Mekanism has honed a refreshingly uninhibited sound - one that pops with joyful expression and works to serve the sort of free-flowing parties he regularly plays across the US and Mexico. Here, he delivers his trademark sound with Do The Disco - a rapturous cut that features percussion from Grammy Award-winning percussionist Jorge Bezerra and an alt sax replaying of Do It At The Disco by Garys Gang by Tom Barford with a gracious nod from Nervous and Uni Disc. The taught skins of Bezerras drums rattle out of the blocks and get things off to an electrifying start. Pattered into dexterous of polyrhythms, they carry that certain energy that drives a marrow-deep motivation to move while a straight 4/4 kick maintains a solid boom throughout. Jorge Bezerra is a Grammy Award-winning Musician and Percussionist who has worked alongside many great artists throughout his career, notably on Ludovic Navarres St Germain project, on stage with the wonderful Melody Gardot and as an integral member of the Joe Zawinul Syndicate that allowed him to share the stage with other greats, such as Herbie Hancock, Bebel Gilberto, Hitonari Tsuji, Cheick Tidiane and Bobby McFerrin. Barfords sax is steadily filtered in while a bossy bass line walks up and down and the mood begins to bubble. Drums, sax and bass take turns to grab centre stage and the resultant vibe is feverish, balmy and jammed full of fun.

Exploited Club warmly welcome in Pleasure Voyage who step up to the plate and do as they do best: casting out a wide musical net, gathering in influences from Breaks, House, Disco, Balearic and Funk whilst pulling in a hefty dose of fun, flair and ecstasy to boot.

'Cuánto Cuesta' is a simmering pot of pure joy. A bubbling bass line has the track on a low boil throughout while luscious, buoyant synths intimately jostle alongside bold but allaying piano chords. Classic breaks snap in the back while a gently acidic lead flexes in and out of focus and the resultant groove sends out a clear and cosy invitation to get loose.

A regular on Johannes Albert's Frank Music's label and Tensnake's True Romance, Claus Casper chips in with his 'No Tengo Dinero' remix - a fortified revision that packs an extra punch with a layered snare, cow bells and an open hat that seasons the groove with a little bite and snap.

Rolling snare fills punctuate the track as Claus creates ramps for sections that showcase his indisputable chops on the keys. The passion and heat of the orignal remains intact as progress tumbles towards a long, spine-tingling breakdown that pops wide open in a manner that will send the floor absolutely nuts.

Hailing from Brussels, EMJIE is catching heavy acclaim off the back of records for Get Physical and Yes Yes Yes, as well as a recent B2B with Diplo, a radioshow for Keinemusik and bill-sharing with the likes of Dixon, LP Giobbi and Roman Fluegel. Claus Casper makes one hell of a return to Exploited Club with a dynamo for the dance floor designed to take the lid clean off the party. Claus Casper adds to an extensive catalogue with releases for Johannes Alberts Frank Music and Tensnakes True Romance to name a few. Here, he returns with the crystal clear intent to give DJs something to draw for when the party is at its absolute zenith. A snappy, muscular break is rooted to the ground by a tough 4/4 kick. This forms the bone structure of a groove that gradually whips up a frenzy, stacking exultation in layers as it rolls. A slick, agile bass line keeps energy pulsing in the low end as the track shifts through chapters that are marked by openings for a hands-in-the-air piano line that as the title suggests, is nothing short of glorious. Clever sequencing keeps intensity up as elements are whipped out and slapped back in - somehow feeling more and more jubilant as they return right until the end of a full throttle jam thats got tune of the night written all over it.

A decade into shaping careers of artists like Claptone, Adana Twins, Joyce Muniz and Budakid, he continues to remain on the pulse of the global underground shaping dance music through his label, productions and unconventional, uncompromising and unpredictable sets. 

Shir Khan established his label night at Berlin’s Watergate over the years, did a groundbreaking weekly radioshow at Radio Fritz for over 8 years whilst regularly touring all over the world. He is currently based in Bangkok, Thailand. 
His music is exciting and full of amazing tracks that you most likely will not have heard before.
In 2016 Shir Khan released the album compilation ’Dancing & Romancing’ to great critical press acclaim.
Label boss Shir Khans excellent A&R skills proceed him by this point, but taking stock of just a fraction of what hes signed along the way really drives his reputation home. From breaking Claptone as an unknown artist to helping him become one of the biggest-selling names in dance music to introducing the world to other major players like Adana Twins, Doctor Dru and Joyce Muniz, he has unearthed a staggering amount of talent in such a short space of time.
