Just shy of the the Baltic Sea in Northern Germany is the city of Kiel, where fledgling label Empore Music's first release is from the duo Avidus. Released on May 29, their Accolade EP is a solid take on that deep, moody house sound made famous by its neighboring city of Hamburg. Empore Records releases are all available on short-run vinyl presses of 300, feature artwork from local artist Jochem Roman Schneider, and the crew's scene is centered around the nightclub Luna.

With a massive output of collaborations in the last couple of months with Tube & Berger, Paji, Flo MRZDK or Chemical Surf, it’s definitely time again for Juliet Sikora to bring her very own and long-awaited EP to your speakers! After her huge success being producing part next to Tube & Berger on “Come On Now (Set It Off)” last year, “Larrys Garage EP” consisting of two tracks is one of the most promising releases on the Kittball-catalogue for the first half of 2015. The title track grooves with a deep bass going with a female soul vocal and a cheering crowd which is something in accordance for the upcoming summer and Open Air-Season. “Tender Trip” is a small following to the underground sound of the 90’s tripping with a more classic base and acid-biased loops. All in one this is a package you should keep a strong eye on as it will for sure touch you more often the next months! 2015 is going to be a massive year for Juliet Sikora with an output of strong remixes for Lane 8, Notize & Fura and further collaborations with Tube & Berger, Nakadia and Berlin based Lars Moston!

WGVinyl031 Watergate Affairs 01 will be released on 12" vinyl and digital on May 9th.

Watergate Affairs is a brand new offering featuring residents, regulars and affiliated artists that have developed close ties to the club through the years. Over the course of four tracks, Jimi Jules, Lee Jones, La Fleur and David Mayer & Sebastian Voigt perfectly display the sound of Watergate. 

Diving right in is Jimi Jules and he hasn't let lost a step, picking up where he left off with his stellar 'Bogotá EP' earlier this year by churning out a burner. "6%" is rooted in a heaving low end groove while hypnotic tones spiral around a modulating lead that never lands in the same place, ensuring a twisted dance floor venture. 

Following on the A side we see long time resident Lee Jones at the top of his game with 'Fraction Disco', edited by no other than Metro. Equal parts eerie and sublime, it navigates through a groovy playfulness with deliberate severity by contrasting bouncing percussion with haunting keys creating a tune that feels absolutely massive. 

Flipping sides, the one and only La Fleur kicks it off in her signature style on 'Waves', effortlessly blending modern design with a classic approach resulting in an unforgettable tune that flawlessly shines at any time and place. 

Wrapping up the EP is close friends to the club; David Mayer & Sebastian Voigt. 'Voyage One' sees the two plunge deep into the aural wilderness utilizing rich, organic percussives as lush sonic hooks rise and fall spawning a unique excursion into celestial spaces.
