Ukranian producer Komilev is warmly welcomed back to Exploited Club, following records on Disco Halal, Watergate Records and Frau Blau with an assortment of classy dance music. 

Title track 'Falling For You' opens up with tumbling pianos, pin-prick hats and a well-rounded low end. Vacuum synths and a jagged bass line pave the way for an amorous vocal that generates a cogent force - one that really dials in that Panaorama vibe packed with effervescent drama, soul and sass. 

Aptly titled 'Crisp' follows up with a memorable trip. Neat, clean drums land with airy accuracy while synth-pop chords shimmer. Tripped out vocals churn in circles like mangled memories while a simple, effective bass line pins down a tool-like groove. 

'No Sleep' then instantly captures a certain guttural ecstasy; a sense of joyful nervousness. The top end of the track is decorative and delicate with signals scattered to all corners while a irresistible melody steadily build towards the sort of breakdown that has you squeezing strangers. What breaks out is sheer, giddy bliss before 'This Is Your Out' rolls out a rude and classy mood. 

A tightly-woven break smacks of attitude, continuing to roll while the track journeys through a series of chapters. Percussive breaks and vocal snap shots work in tandem before an organ gently ripples in sending shivers down the spine capping off a well crafted and versatile record.

Damon Jee & Darlyn Vlys - Wolf's Call // Correspondant

Cook Strummer (@cook-strummer) has complied the latest Berlin Gets Physical (@get-physical-music)but first comes a second EP taken from it with two fresh cuts.

Berlin-born Pardon Moi and Feinstoff founder, multi-instrumentalist and touring DJ Freudenthal (@freudenthal) has a dark wave sound that is all his own. Here he pair up with DJ and producer, Nowhere People (@avivaviv), an artist who has been on the scene for a decade now, releasing on labels like Blaufield Music and Imprint Rural and playing regularly at the likes of Kater Blau. ‘Cipher’ is designed for strobe lit dance floors and comes with lashings of wave influences as this track proves. It’s a stark cut with slapping hits, rugged bass and rave lines that amp up the energy levels, as brilliantly cosmic synth patterns unfold up top to bring the light and ensure maximum impact on the floor.

Captain Mustache is at the vanguard of Paris’ electro new school. Riding on a wave of incredible form, he counts to his name an album on KOMPAKT, a collab with Chicks On Speed on Permanent Vacation, an EP for Helena Hauff’s Return To Disorder label, an album on Bedrock and an outing on Les Yeux Orange with remixes from electro gods DMX Krew and Legowelt. Defining his sound as ‘romantic and burlesque’, he takes his cues from electroclash, ‘80s electro and synth pop and Detroit techno.
