After all the Smoke & Ashes that was launched in our BeenTouched series, Pete returns to Sincopat now in the main and front line. Trying Not To the almighty Gabriel Ananda on remix duties.

Pete continues exploring the sound and giving emotion to his music today in form of three new tracks full of soul and heart. Trying Not To is a tight huge track that will burn the most demanding places. Master Gabriel Ananda presents an exquisite version rich in details and getting a fantastic balance between deep and tech. We knew he is a quality stamp. 

Graphium follows the futuristic and tasteful line of Electronic Music. Sinister and dark voices for a devastating effect on the dancefloor. Me My Molly shows Pete’s more elegant stuff. He goes a bit deeper with sensual melodies but for sure also a great pick of the night. But, as Pete says, let the music speak by itself.

Welcome to ZEHN002, where Betoko and Haze-M invite you to experience their melodic infused techno spheres. The London based DJ and producer Betoko prepared two well crafted tracks with Tunisian artist Haze-M for this EP, and both are techno weapons with a subtle melodic groove. Over the years, Betoko and Haze-M managed to create anthems that were released on labels like Diynamic, Suara, Katermukke, Einmusika, Get Physical and now ZEHN Records.

'Rebirth' envelopes you with its hypnotising chants and and stimulates your body to a progressive journey. It has a perfect balance of energy to give the crowd a boost, without being too overpowering. It makes it easy to create a story/set from there says Betoko himself on the tune, after opening many of his sets with it on South America tour. "I have never been a huge fan of Eastern/Indian vocals beacuse I feel they have been used alot, but when I heard this particular track I was hypnotized, it was almost like it spoke to me and in my mind I made my own lyrics and story.”

Marcus Meinhardt’s track “Hibiskuss” brings pulsating and warm tropical layers together, seducing its listener into total indulgence. The tribal percussions set the tone, shaking and grooving throughout the track and thus providing a framework for the beautiful melody. Having a light melancholic touch to it, which is underlined by the vocal elements, there is still a positive vibe radiating off the track. Through the build up it feels like you are taken on a journey following new, enchanting soundscapes, culminating in a twirl of bliss in the break. Jonas Saalbach is back with his 3rd long-player “Reminiscence“ which will be out end of February. The young super producer from Berlin created an album which can be listened in a raw without loosing the typical atmosphere of the club. With techy vibes on the one hand and experimental slowed down pieces on the other these songs can be found in a lot of DJ sets all around the globe this year for sure. With a big album tour and some unique live shows the long player will be celebrated.

We welcome one of Germany's most exciting talents, Renga Weh, on board for a wonderful two tracker. 

He made his Manual debut earlier this year remixing Rauschhaus & V-Cious' single 'Boy' and shortly after he got in touch with us, showcasing his fresh demo tracks, which ultimately lead to the release you have in front of you right now.

'Not Enough' is the first song on Renga Weh's Manual debut single and it sets the tone right from the get-go with it's deep and mysterious melancholic vibe whilst subtly teasing with vocal snippets of what's to come.

'Fiction' remains in the same deep melancholic sound spectrum but in contrast to its predecessor this is a non-vocal piece. Subtle, intelligent and warm, a proper melodic builder where every little detail has the space to breathe.

Two absolutely stellar cuts here by Renga Weh and a very worthy Manual Music single debut!

With every passing second one discovers new details, striking passages taking turns with vulnerable sounds, and with every additional piece of the puzzle you’ll get closer to the core of this work. “Feys” heralds a new era for R.EK and introduces a new chapter for his label KnotenMusic—by uniting melodic techno with cinematic dramatics. In collaboration with Hannes Bieger, whose mixing adds a warm touch to the sound, R.EK is again pushing boundaries, and explores new grounds, where subtle, harmonious synthies and an enormous love for detail are paired to enable a new, distinct sound.

About KNOTEN
Under the umbrella of KNOTEN, R.EK is currently developing a new live performance concept that attempts to reinvent the communication between the artist and the audience by adding innovative visuals to the show. The new track will be released under KnotenMusic, which was launched as part of the KNOTEN project.
