It probably wouldn't be an exaggeration to say Belgian young-gun Mickey is on a bit of a roll at the moment. 

Last year he blessed us with a stunning remix of Sebastien Tellier's 'Sedulous' showcasing his ability to think outside of his usual genre boundaries for the benefit of the song. In 2013 he's done it again with his remix of Claptone's 'No Eyes feat. Jaw'. It saw him retreat the familiar structure of house music for a 6 minute slice of uplifting deep house that went to the Top of the Beatport Charts. We liked his remix so much that we asked for a proper release. 

Here you go: Mickey's  first release on Exploited: Walk Away. And it's a bomb! Promised!

Premiere: Tony y Not - Deep Don't Stop [Kompakt]

Sincopat is proud to welcome Ary Sya to the family with a release that masterfully blends multiple influences and styles. This colourful EP fuses melodic house with a radiant summer vibe and dancefloor energy, creating a sonic journey steeped in Japanese inspiration.

Two of the tracks, Nikita and Akari, pay homage to this cultural influence through their names. The journey begins with Nikita, a very personal track for the artist. The track resonated deeply with Ary Sya's mother, Nicole, who, upon hearing it for the first time, simply said, ‘I love it’. That heartfelt moment led to the decision to name it Nikita, as a subtle tribute to her. Akari, fully embraces the Japanese theme as well, with a bright and summery feel. Akari means light in Japanese.

To close the release, Melon draws inspiration from a fruit considered precious and refined in Japanese culture.The artist translates this essence into music, creating a delicate yet impactful track, a perfect balance of elegance and intensity.
With this release, Ary Sya brings a fresh and unique perspective to Sincopat, offering an immersive musical experience that is as soulful as it is danceable.

Spring has arrived with added fervour here at Darkroom Dubs HQ, as Parisien maestro Prinze delivers four jubilant tracks heralding his much-anticipated label debut. His 'We Are Free' EP is a bold clarion call to the dancefloor that gives a mischievous nod to early '90s UK progressive house and the halcyon days of acid and rave culture while fully embracing a defined and distinctively psychedelic sonic vision of the future.

2025 will undoubtedly continue to be an eventful year for Prinze as he duly prepares a fistful of cosmic missives for his own Epicure Records and remix collaborations with Rotten City head honcho Alvaro Cabana and Silicone Soul.
