Making the debut release on their new label, Powder Music, Made in TLV drop ‘Rehab’ with remix support from Simple Symmetry & Xen, and Rina.

Powder music is a new imprint from Israeli duo Liraz Levinson
and Aviv Bens (Made in TLV). Breaking on to the scene in 2017 with a series of incendiary releases, they were quickly snapped up by Asymmetric, Keinemusik and Blue Shadow. Now bedded into the fabric of the Tel Aviv elite, they travel the world with their unique sound.

‘Rehab’ is a rubbery mid set chugger with bags of personality. An acidic bass takes the lead from bar one growing organically into an infectious groove aimed squarely at the cooler floors. On remix duties, Simple Symmetry and Xen drop the tempo to envision a dark, druggy dub version that swells with e-moments, while Rina delves into harrowing soundscape-y minimalism.

Hot on the heels of his recent “The Super Album”, our favorite seafarer is back with a delicious round of remixes. Frau Blau head honcho KADOSH takes “About Love feat Speakwave” to darker disco territories. Rome’s WHITESQUARE gives “Shifting Basslines feat Chicks on Speed” a powerful 90s progressive house inspired spin. Last but not least, the Las Vegas duo THIRD CULTURE (aka Sian & Sacha Robotti) are taking a swing at “I Love Watching You feat Arnaud Rebotini”, emphazising the noir EBM vibes of the original.

Cabizbajo presents his new EP 'Levantando' through the Mexican imprint Duro Label. The EP includes two original cuts in which Cabizbajo collaborates with popstar Miranda Santizo and Italian producer Berny, marking his return after his debut album 'Love Alone'.

'Levantando' begins with 'El Encantador,' a captivating and energetic track that combines Santizo's immersive voice with a magnetic melody that sweeps you from side to side. The B-side, 'Diabolika,' is a collaboration with Italian artist Berny. This cut is a true banger for the dance floor, featuring a powerful rhythmic base and fresh keyboards that perfectly complement the vocals.

The "Muy Duro" series returns this summer with the twelfth edition of the compilation. This time, the artists involved are Yotam Russo, Rina feat. Julyjuli, Theus Mago collaborating with Dominik Marz, Alvaro Cabana, and Ali X.
The compilation splendidly begins with “Lift Him Up” by Israeli artist Yotam Russo, who brilliantly combines a rhythmic section that invites you to feel the summer energy along with pianos, acid melodies, and gospel vocals. Following is the collaboration between Rina and Julyjuli, a psychedelic and immersive track with a captivating and deep bass, accompanied by electrifying synthesizers that plunge you into a trance while the voice resonates like a lost mantra.
“Bring The Feedback,” produced by Theus Mago in collaboration with Dominik Marz, is a house-oriented track that hooks you from the very first moment with its acid and elastic sounds and rhythmic elements. Spanish artist Álvaro Cabana returns to the compilation with “Integración,” a track that progressively takes you through the surrealistic bass and drum rhythm and the stuttered vocals, creating a hypnotic and lysergic sound that immerses you in a hallucinatory and enigmatic world.
Closing the compilation is “Choola” by Ali X, a track with deep and resonant basses that mixes different melodic, percussive, and vocal elements, creating a mind-blowing and accelerated atmosphere.
“Muy Duro Vol. 12” will be available on all digital platforms starting July 26, 2024.
