Back on Exploited is an EP from the auspicious Zeynep Erbay. Based in Istanbul, her music has come via Soul Clap Records and NuNothern Soul, has been remixed by the diligent Barcelona based Baldo (Subwax) and has received support on BBC Radio 1 via Godmode affiliate Chloé Caillet.

'Neon Palm' kicks the record off with the drums doing the business; they're concise, cleverly plotted and pack sufficient poke to sit the tracks comfortably alongside modern Indie Dance, Italo Disco and House alike. Organ blobs pulse through the heart of the track while a detailed, coherent tapestry is woven. Key-shifting melodies swirl over bumping drums that maintain a fizzy tension throughout.

The title track 'Secret Island' follows up with a powerful and memorable production. A thick, rasping low end provides an underbelly for tastefully treated vocals and lucent synth tones. The narrative is driven by clever sound design which has the track expanding and contracting as it develops.

A clipped radio version and an instrumental round off a pack of versatile, playable tunes that will no doubt find their way into a panoply of top selectors' bags.

Zeynep about her EP:
'I started "Secret Island" in London – a track born from thoughts of someone special and I wished to be closer to. I Imagined a secret island, where all barriers fade away, both in the mind and in reality. When I pictured us meeting there, these melodies just flowed. It's a song with a bit melancholy, but without loosing the control.
Then comes "Neon Palm," a track inspired by imagining palm trees on that imaginary island – a playful tease of my own emotions. In reality, it's a bit of fun, poking at the feelings I was going through. This track took shape in Bodrum, the Tropic City, adding a touch of sunshine to the mix.'

Sincopat is proud to welcome Ary Sya to the family with a release that masterfully blends multiple influences and styles. This colourful EP fuses melodic house with a radiant summer vibe and dancefloor energy, creating a sonic journey steeped in Japanese inspiration.

Two of the tracks, Nikita and Akari, pay homage to this cultural influence through their names. The journey begins with Nikita, a very personal track for the artist. The track resonated deeply with Ary Sya's mother, Nicole, who, upon hearing it for the first time, simply said, ‘I love it’. That heartfelt moment led to the decision to name it Nikita, as a subtle tribute to her. Akari, fully embraces the Japanese theme as well, with a bright and summery feel. Akari means light in Japanese.

To close the release, Melon draws inspiration from a fruit considered precious and refined in Japanese culture.The artist translates this essence into music, creating a delicate yet impactful track, a perfect balance of elegance and intensity.

Damon Jee is back on Polaris.This time, he presents ‘Memories’, a significant Ep composed with Demian, a Damon's old friend and brother who sadly passed away recently. Demian was a lovely person with a big heart and he was also a very good DJ and producer, with some great releases on Kompakt and Correspondant, to name but a few.
This ep is a tribute to Demian, may his soul rest in peace.

We start with ‘Memories’, a featuring track vibrant square waves and perfectly harmonised electronic composition, immediately mesmerizing the listener with its fascinating leitmotif and arpeggios, serving as a musical testament to a trip beyond time.

Adnan Khadra has been making waves since his 2022 debut at London’s iconic Fabric. Opening the EP, ’Capricious Society’ has all it takes to be a hit : emotion, groove, carefully crafted synth stabs, melodic synth-escapades and driving arpeggiators, as well as ethereal sounding vocoders. One track made for those special and emotional moments on the dancefloor.

Dodi Palese takes ‘Capricious Society’ to festival territory, its ostinatos taking center stage to transform the original into a hypnotic and powerful anthem with a relentless rise of energy. While the original track feels like an emotional dream, the remix adds the power factor to it.
Photons brings another facet of Adnan’s Solar Visions, with heady synths, soaring choirs, as well as epic and emotionally charged chord progressions.

Psychedelic Pina Colada brings is in a more percussive dreamscape, showcasing Adnan’s knack for intricate and catchy melodic patterns, acid synths, and celestial pads—topped off with a mesmerising flute-like lead.

Previously featured on Feed The Void’s fundraising compilation to support the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Dreamweaver is a poignant closing statement about hope and resilience—serving as a positive reminder that music can inspire change, and hope for better days to come, and we believe through his music, Adnan is the perfect messenger for this purpose. (Dreamweaver will only be available as a bonus track bundled with the EP, the original release is still available to purchase as a single via Feed The Void).

Sincopat is excited to present a fearless return from Cabizbajo, solidifying his position at the forefront of Mexico’s electronic music scene.

The release opens with “White Eyes,” where Cabizbajo crafts a hauntingly hypnotic groove that pulses with energy and ethereal tension. This track exemplifies minimalist design, with each sound carefully chosen to draw the listener into a moody and immersive experience.
