A few years ago, "Regen" was my first professional release. 
Back in the days it was something very special for me.
As a little 5 year revival I wanted to share with you the version I re-produced for a set at Katerblau.

Besides the typical "rainy" synth, the track got some new downtempo drums and a sitar. Hope you like the reinterpretation.

Art Vibes has put together a killer lineup to satisfy the most demanding ears. A lot of new artists as well as your favorites from the label have outdone themselves… you're in for a treat!

We're welcoming Ben & Vincent from Köln, Germany, with ‘Alice', a downtempo piece of electronic music flavored with delicate touches of Eastern melodies. Mellow-sounding keys merge with tastefully overdriven electric guitars and traditional percussion. A musical delight for the lovers of slow-groovin' tracks.

MI.LA is back with yet another mystical tune: Katoa. Her music has been making waves in the organic house scene with acclaimed singles ‘Garmi', ‘Garden', and ‘Fiera'. Katoa is mid-tempo track with a resolute ethnic vibes brought by ethereal flute sounds and diffuse guitar licks. The harmony takes one on a journey through a yet-to-be defined sonic realm.

Greg Ochman has been a regular of the label, gifting us with his joyful tunes for the past few years. Once again, we are beyond happy to feature his unique work. ‘Transparent Sun' has a lovely progressive vibe that caresses the ears of listeners with its intricate fluffiness. A blissful blend of synthesizers, dreamy strings, and piano jams, filling one with positive emotions.

Thales Senses is joining Art Vibes all the way from Paraguay. ‘Flowers in Sea' is a melancholic Organic House track full of analog sounds and detailed textures. You are invited into a hypnotic and ecstatic sonic journey. So, are you coming along?

Souvnear's ‘True Sunshine' is a deep and progressive audio gem. The french artist is delivering quality beats with a distinctive emotional signature. With this single, he is conveying nostalgic feelings through a minimal yet powerful orchestration. The sound design is smooth and leaves space for listeners to immerse themselves into the lush soundscapes and start dreaming away.

Demetra and Lafreq are new to the label, making a remarkable entry with ‘Make Me Feel'. The House influenced track is featuring the angelic vocals of Indian singer Shrii. Their work is reminiscent of All Day I Dream's recent releases, with that distinctive nostalgic vibe you dance to as the last rays of sunlight shine onto happy ravers.

Art Vibes' co-founder Veytik has been evolving at the edge of Organic and Ethnic House. His sound is very often characterized by vintage sounding synthesizers and organic sonorities imported from diverse horizons. As an aficionado of the 70's and 80's, the New-York based producer created ‘Proton' with a patchwork of both old and new sounds… This one has been made for summer dance-floors and careful listeners alike.

9DEEP has released a myriad of timeless singles on Art Vibes. The producer is always bringing new sonorities to the mix, yet staying true to his addictive psychedelic house universe. With ‘Once In A Lifetime', 9DEEP is exploring mysterious soundscapes, somewhere one could get easily lost… and dive deep within.

Ruben Coslada fasziniert uns mit seiner neuen EP "Archipel", indem er den Wechsel der Gezeiten in ein groovig knarziges Gesamtpaket komponiert hat. Wir spüren in "Calima" dem sandigen Ostwind der kanarischen Inseln nach. Die Sicht ist leicht getrübt, das Licht rötlich gebrochen und die trockene Luft fegt über die Archipelgewässer.
Wie in einem luziden Rausch webt Dani Posadas Remix eine weitere Ebene aus knackigen Wüstenklängen in ihre Interpretation,
während Matija uns mit einem entschleunigten Remix tiefer ins mäandernde Traumland entführt.
Ebenso wie die Logik des Archipels auf die Vielfalt der verschiedenen Inseln verweist, werden die vom Meer belebten Räume in dieser EP im zweiten Track "Taoro" versinnbildlicht und in einem ständigen Fluss der genüsslichen Verlangsamung zelebriert.
Denn auch in der Philosophie stellte Gilles Deleuze über das Archipel fest: "Die Welt besteht [...] aus fließenden Beziehungen, aus Inseln und dem Dazwischen, aus beweglichen Punkten und gewundenen Linien."

Expmental Records proudly presents: Mental Picks Vol.45

The well-known Various Artists series from our label returns with a fresh twist. Since last year, we've decided to change the sound of our July release, bringing a more downtempo and electronica vibe. We've kept those low BPMs that are a favorite of our label boss, Eddy Romero. This time, we have 5 tracks—4 originals and one remix—that you're going to love.
Our label boss starts things off with a fusion of his two aliases, Eddy Romero and Saturnz Other Soul, in a track titled "The Dilema." that takes you on a personal trip through his intricate soundscapes and the vocals. Following that, the magnificent Dad Of The Year lands with a very strong track that mixes many parts of his unique world, keeping his recognizable groove with cinematic melodies and a vocal that accompanies the trip splendidly.
On the third part of this VA, we have Fábel, a master in downtempo and electronica sounds, who mixes jazz vibes and dub movements in a masterpiece for lovers of this genre. This exceptional track comes paired with a remix by Saturnz Other Soul, which takes the original version to another dimension. Lastly, we welcome back French artist Chillohm, who previously gave us a more dub house style and now brings a track with ethnic sounds that periodically represent the evolution of our label.
We hope you enjoy this EP as much as we have. Each track is a journey, and together they form a collection that embodies the spirit of Expmental Records.
