Founder and manager of A R Records, Bristol based Exposure is a producer and DJ with formidable talent and a thirst for all things Drum and Bass.

Exposure’s journey has already taken him far. He’s played at renowned club nights like Nottingham’s famous Detonate as well as a whole host of other events and festivals. In Brisbane, under his ‘Rescued’ club brand, Exposure was host to some of the scene’s biggest DJs and MCs including Andy C & MC GQ, Friction & SP:MC, Marky, Fierce and State of Mind, to name but a few.
Exposure DJ sets are full of energy and span the full spectrum of Drum and Bass. With fast lightning and varied mixing, he drops fresh unheard dubplates to classics that you haven’t heard for years.
Exposure takes his name from his style of seamlessly blending between the hard and the dark, through to the soft and light, taking you on a journey through everything in between.
Having immersed himself in the world of music production and dedicating endless hours in the studio, Exposure’s tunes have gone from strength to strength and a unique sound is now developing. The influence of Drum and Bass dons like Break, Calyx and Calibre is audible, with heavy rolling beats and big basslines, while all the time maintaining a real musical vibe and flow from start to finish.

‘Feel Alive’ is the latest track from Exposure on his label A R Records.
23rd of March 2023 marks 3 years since the first lockdown for Covid in UK (what a mad time that was!!). It was in that first week that this track was written in Exposure’s home in Easton, Bristol.

What came out was a 90’s rave inspired dance floor anthem, a celebration of life, music and our freedom to dance that was swiftly taken away from us during the pandemic.

Jungle drums, euphoric pads, synths and vocal samples make way for a weighty reece bass on the drop. Rave piano hooks inspired by the classics from the early rave era are sure to get your hands in the air.

Now living in Portugal and with plans of launching a festival, Exposure is working hard but always reminding himself of the need to feel alive.

Up, and up, and up away!

I took my decks up in a hot air balloon to play this Drum and Bass set live at sunrise over the Moroccan desert.

It was one of the most unreal settings I’ve ever played in - drifting over the dunes as the sky came up, surrounded by good people and incredible views (on my birthday too!). The mix blends deep, techy and liquid DnB and Jungle with a few of my own tunes.

Exposure is an international DJ, producer, label owner, and promoter with years of experience and expertise in supplying dirty basslines to the masses. 

Demonstrating a unique musical style spanning the full spectrum of Jungle and Drum and Bass (with occasional forays into neurobreaks), Exposure has firmly planted himself within the 174 BPM landscape. 

2015 saw the inception of his label A R Records and his debut release. The label acts as a home for not only his own music, but also established and up-and-coming artists. In 2022, Exposure embarked on another new mission; to push Drum and Bass in Portugal with his latest project, a festival and events brand called Natropolis.

Exposure’s musical output has been nothing short of prolific over the past few years. Aside from releases on A R Records, he has also earned the seal of approval from labels such as; Jungle Cakes, Bad Taste, Symbiotik and Addictive Behaviour. 

Exposure has gained support from BBC Introducing on numerous occasions, received major radio play, and garnered the support of many DJs in the scene. 

Exposure shows no signs of taking his foot off the gas. Plenty more exciting releases are in the works and awaiting announcement. The real journey has only just begun.
