nineteen years spent in nothing but the dark
i crumble to pieces as soon as things get hard
it's a long way down, no way out, i'm scarred
spent my whole life being laughed at and picked apart

and i got lost in a moment of weakness
and i wish that you'd never see this
did i mean nothing? that's pretty facetious 
fighting all my life, but i'll never beat this
