Renowned by the moniker LYOD, the versatile producer, Niklas Heidkamp, has recently released his debut album to the world. Prior to this musical milestone, LYOD immersed himself in a creative cocoon, holing up in a cabin by the sea dedicating his time to crafting new tracks. After many hours, ‘Forgot How You Dance,’ was born.

In the album Heidkamp explores a sentiment that has lingered since his youth—a feeling of longing for something undefined. LYOD channels this emotion through his music, delving into the intricate nuances of a love envisioned but recognized as unattainable. Whether capturing the essence of brief yet intense encounters or expressing a yearning for the elusive, the album strikes an emotional chord.

At only 24 years old, LYOD has demonstrated remarkable versatility in his music career from the jump. Crafting his first tracks at the age of ten, he has already produced a  number of songs, amassing over 35 million streams and earning recognition with an official remix for DJ Sam Feldt. LYOD's success is attributed to the  meticulous attention to details that add a special touch to his music. 

"Forgot How You Dance" is not just an electrifying debut album; it signifies LYOD's emergence as a talent to watch. The emotionally charged dance grooves embedded in the album cut straight to the soul, delivering a raw authenticity that leaves an indelible mark on the listener's experience. Spotlight Mix: Skeleton Keys

Brighton Music Conference 2024 DJ Set - Trish O. Supporting Data Transmission

Darius Syrossian & DJ Sneak go way back, & this collab came about when Sneak sent Darius a voice note on whatsapp about sending a new batch of productions. Syrossian decided to sample the voice note and make a track from it. Todd Edwards then subsequently heard this track and wanted to remix it. The end result is Moxy Muzik once again leading from the front with a new package that features three of the most notable artists in the underground.

Together the mighty pair cook up Big Bizness, a timeless track with heavy house drums and fat bass. It makes for a muscular groove that is topped with 90s style melodies that dart about the mix over drums that are dusty, deep and tinged with hints of US garage. It's a cut that cannot fail to make a mark.

Remixer Todd Edwards pioneered the early garage sound and has been a legend ever since. His masterful remix is a bouncing and swinging garage house cut with his signature chopped up vocal stabs and bright, feel good chords.
