We are super hyped to present the 72nd edition featuring an hour of incredible blends from the creative 4-deck mastermind Jan Goertz! 

Jan Goertz's creative work is largely driven by the desire to test and redefine his limits in competition with technology. This is one of the reasons why he is known for his 4-deck mixes containing a multitude of tracks. First two and then three players simply became too boring for him. The motivation to DJ, however, also comes from the calmness that is triggered in his otherwise very bustling head during the process. And of course the fun! His goal in djing is the creation of an "endless groove". 

By breaking up track structures, Jan wants to form a mix as a "unity from its individual parts, instead of just stringing songs together". He prefers to play with four players. "Vinyl is cool but more for house and smoother techno :D".

Primarily, Jan draws inspiration from the club context - both as a guest and as an artist. For him, techno is first and foremost "functional and works for and in a club. That's what this music is made for."

Key moments for the DJ, who has been active since 2013, were his 10.5-hour set at Geheimclub Magdeburg and the sprawling back to backs with Rod_a and Morgenstern. His role models are DVS1, Ben Klock and ROD.

The following series was founded to acknowledge producers for their influence on shaping the sound in the electronic music genre while simultaneously showcasing the distinctive musical style of each artist, featuring both released and unreleased music in an all-original podcast format.

K92 aims to reintroduce a sense of mystery surrounding artists by bringing back the focus on the music itself and creating a blank slate for listeners to develop their own interpretations. As a result, the sets on this platform do not include any press photographs or biographies. Instead, each set has been personally signed by the artist to complete their signature sound.

In the 79th episode of Techno Cartel Podcast we are pleased to host Fixeer. 

Fixeer is one of the most known Mexican DJ´s and producers on the global Techno scene, member of Illegal Alien Records. Currently and for 20 years he has trained as a teacher several generations of dj's and producers in Mexico, at the G Martell Music University.

He also develops his career as an event producer with “From Mini to Tech”, where he has invited artists such as Truncate, Rebekah, Oscar Mulero, Developer, Tommy Four Seven, and more. 

His amazing productions has taken his tracks to the most recognized dance floors and clubs from around the globe with the likes of Ben Sims, Pfirter, Kr!z, Oscar Mulero, Lewis Fawtzi, James Ruskin, DVS1, Sleeparchive, Kessell, Tensal, Dimi Angelis, SLAM, and others. 

He has performed in the most important Techno clubs in México and international clubs such as Mute & Terraza Club (Medellín), Loop Club (Manizales), La Sala (Cali), Radio Berlín Club (Bogotá), Pereira, etc. 

At the end of 2017, he launched his own label called “Human Recs.” signing new talents and already established artists within international Techno music. 

He has published his music on major labels around the world such as: Aine (Pole Group Sub label), Granulart Recordings, Suara, Tsunami Records, Faut Section, MindTrip, Dynamic Reflection, ANAOH, Animal Farm, Injected Poison, Newrhythmic Recs, Spectral Rebel etc.

His sessions are characterized by exposing from the most hypnotic and mental Techno, to the most raw and powerful sound!
