Leathery blooms balloon before you, gargantuan in size and coated in a viscous ichor that seeps slowly from their pores and wafts gently to the ground in oozing droplets amidst the low gravity of this planetoid’s atmosphere. Upon the earth stained by this acrid fluid another fungus springs to life, spreading forth in fractal patterns composed of a multitude of microscopic cells. From the edges of this organism emanates a faint sibilant sound, resultant of its consumption of minerals from the rocky ground below. 

Over millennia, it seems that these strange processes of life have carved great canyons into the landscape that stretches into the distance. As you peer into the background of the portal presented by the Vision Serpent, tiny veins of pristine blue waters glisten gently under the light of the planetoid’s dim sun, presenting a much more hospitable clime than that which surrounds the portal’s exit. Shall you step through to the other side, braving this alien world to seek the wonders promised amidst its distant cerulean streams?

8KICKS brings his latest single SAME THING to VISION SERPENT, delivering two original tracks and a remix by Reclaim & Uddhav through the label’s sonic portal. SAME THING’s swooping bassline dominates the listener's ears as a vocal sample narrates a mystical experience, whilst its accompanying remix by Reclaim & Uddhav imbues the track with a sense of frenetic urgency. MOVING then closes the single, marching into the unknown in time with the steady snap of its snare drum. B.jun & Iamcosmic - Like That

Crazy Nutz Music continues to strengthen its editorial identity with Brain D., a character-driven EP that reinforces the labels vision: sharp grooves, clear messaging, and top-tier technical execution. Leading this release is Black Fader, a Spanish producer with over 16 years in the international electronic scene, known for his versatile output that spans from peak-time Tech House to more melodic or forceful territories. His discography includes respected labels such as La Pera Records, Hood Politics, Material Series, Habla Music, Be One, And Dance, Techaway, Distortion, and Habitat, with frequent appearances in Beatport charts and performances in iconic European venues. His sound has become synonymous with efficiency and identity in underground circuits. Alongside him are two rising names who add fresh depth to the project: Angel Save, a Southern Spain-based producer with a reputation for surgical percussion and driving grooves, and YVER, a boundary-pushing artist from the rawer fringes of the Iberian scene. The first track, Brain D., co-produced by Black Fader and Angel Save, lands like a direct bomb on the dancefloor: a dry, powerful kick anchors a tight rhythmic base built from crisp snares and rhythmic hi-hats. The warm, rounded bassline fills out the low frequencies and integrates naturally into the mix. The standout feature is the rap-style vocal, with lines like Get down, its too short and dont get caught up in that he said, she said, injecting flow, attitude, and narrative. The vocal is treated with finesse—EQ focused on low-mids, soft compression, and centered placement that keeps it clear and dominant without overpowering the rest. Structurally, the track is fully club-ready, with clean intros, functional bridges, and drops that hit with weight but no excess. The second cut, Total Dark, a collaboration between Black Fader and YVER, explores a darker, more introspective soundscape. The groove becomes denser, the percussion drier, and the harmonic content more restrained. The kick gains depth and the toms introduce a tribal cadence, while the bass moves into deeper, more serpentine territory. A provocative, front-loaded vocal—featuring the line Fire dead, cold feet, motherfucker say what—serves as both hook and emotional detonator in a stripped-back but highly effective arrangement. Both tracks are mixed with surgical precision: frequencies are balanced, dynamic range preserved, and each element shines without overcrowding. The mastering ensures punch and clarity, with enough headroom to sound big on any club system. With this release, Black Fader cements his status as a key figure in both the Spanish and international Tech House scene, while Crazy Nutz Music once again proves its ability to deliver records with personality, narrative, and a forward-thinking reading of global club culture.
