Disco Rollers, this is where Disco meets Drum’n’Bass!

Back in January 2020, Fizzy Gillespie and Mista Trick had an idea to combine two of their musical loves. What came of it was a project that has been over a year in the making; the first of a series of 4 track EPs of Disco tunes remixed into a Drum’n’Bass style.

The remix was massively different to the original, and had one the trademark Aphro reece bass lines with an Acid twist, and a old-school hip hop intro.

APH26 catalogue number, and the other side of Rinsing Quince.

Before days of instant mobile phone dictionaries, the spelling of Rythm... Rhythmn and Rythmn was different and wrongly spelt in the various stages of the artwork.

DJ Aphrodite - Listen To The Rythm Remix (1996)

No Diggety White Label. Done as official remix and not opted for by the artists record company.  Too good to be left as just a recording on a DAT player on the shelf.
This version has been increased in tempo and had some extra 'oomph' on the drums to make better for a contemporary DJ set.

Extra Medium is a Bristol born producer that has been taking on the influences of the city’s underground music scene and fusing it with Jazz music. 

His love for Jazz and obscure sampling has led him to fuse the rolling sounds of drum and bass and the big shuffling energy of UK Garage. Creating a unique and big take on bass driven dance music. 


His take on dance music has led him to create his own record label Thick Boy Records. A record label dedicated to the sounds of UK Garage, House and Drum and bass whilst keeping thick, fresh and funky.
