Bowling out of Offenbach with a swing in his step, Dogpatrol returns for round three on Sneaker Social packing another four-strong payload of mutant rave clout. If you caught the previous missives then you should have some idea of where he’s coming from, getting freaky with rave signifiers and laying down ear-snagging swerves to juice up the dance good and proper. 
 
On this latest release we dip-dive into the grime-licked garage-tech shuffle of ‘Non PGR’ only for the script to get flipped at the mid-section in favour of diced up Think breaks. The pressure doesn’t ease once Nasty King Kurl comes on board for a rolling remix strapped to a disgustingly massive kick drum impulse. 
 
‘Sassafras’ takes a leaner approach to bleepy breakbeat contortions on the B side, holding down the arrangement and letting the track rip when everyone’s wound up and hungry. NKK returns again to partner up with our resident Dog for the collab joint ‘Creepin’, chopping out the RnB samples and whipping up square wave synth flurries shouting out that overlooked substrata of dubstep - the Purple sound. It’s a cheeky hint at the deep-level affinity for all rave gear which powers this EP, another sure step on from your favourite canine soundsystem practitioner.

WDDS returns to his own imprint Hectare Discs and is set to captivate once again with the release of Migration. This follows a string of mighty EPs on the label, as well as releases with Woozy & Accidental Meetings.

Migration is a sonic embodiment of WDDS' personal journey from the coastal tranquility of Brighton to the vibrant urban energy of Manchester, featuring collaborations with friends and fellow artists he encountered along the way. It marks a new chapter in his musical trajectory and reflects his artistic evolution and diverse influences, embodying the vast range of his sound palette.

'Moving Freely' pays homage to the golden era of dubstep while seamlessly weaving in elements of drone and techno. This track exemplifies WDDS' ability to honour the past while pushing musical boundaries, resulting in an auditory experience transcending genres.

Hit 003 is from Jon-Roy. Coming by various backgrounds of electronic music, each of Jon-roy's performances and productions are unique from each other. His work is built on two main influences - being Bass Music (D&B, Dubstep & Garage) and deeper underground genres (House, Techno, Electronica & Chill Out). Jon-roy has performed four times at Outlook Festival and once at Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Earth Garden Festival, Statix Festival and Sunscape Festival. Has featured on LetItRoll and GetDarker nights and alongside various international names such as: General levy / Congo natty / Benny Page / Trimer / MC Fava / Tantrum Desire / Plastician / Phaeleh / Coki / Distance / Kryptic Minds / Lost / Cyrus / Tunnidge / Stenchman / Boxcutter / 2562 and many more. Originating from Malta, Jon-roy is now resident in Barcelona, playing regularly SUBconscious and Big Kharma parties.

There's a special connection between Through These Eyes and Sun People, not only because his "Fight Dem Back/Nu Gun" 12" from 2017 sold out so fast. So of course Simon HAD to be on the tracklist of this compilation. Funny enough, "Movement" was the last tune that got added to the final tracklist. ;)
It's this certain level of deepness and authenticity in his productions that make him an outstanding producer. Don't make the mistake and skip through his tracks, Sun People is a master of slowly creating an intense atmosphere that makes you want to listen to his stuff on repeat again and again.
