Hi-Tech is a Psytrance style strongly influenced by Dark Psytrance, Psycore, and Full-On. It is characterized by a synthetic aesthetic pushed to the extreme. In terms of tempo, Hi-Tech vary from 160 BPM to over 200++ BPM, making it and Psycore the fastest Psychedelic Trance styles. Unlike Psycore, Hi-Tech can present an absence of atmosphere in favor of a non-regular melodic structure. In addition, Hi-Tech is generally the least predictable and constant of all Psychedelic Trance styles.

Cold Blooded is Resina Records first release and represents their first step in bringing slimy psychedelic music to the world. The artist collective Fractal Calangos is composed by Psytrance artists from the brazilian psy scene and this EP was crafted by Aquarius Orb, Akanis, Cyk, Gahara & Mad Goblins.

The release showcases some of the label’s music style, which could be defined by its gloomy soundscapes surrounded by frantic sample manipulation, and also illustrates some of the artists’ sound affinities

DJs Becar & Sunshine tried to combine together the artits who have been with us for many years along the way with authentic russian darkpsy and forest tracks, supporting the local scene in Russia, which was a big point for the label since the first released compilation.
