Originally released back in 2010 as part of an Agoria mix compilation sampler Temperature's Rising has become a cult hit with vinyl copies now impossible to find for any price as the chance of a repress was held back by record company politics. Now, finally, it returns, remastered for 2016 and enjoying the clear cut and full side of vinyl it undoubtedly deserves.

On the B-side is the Temperate Dub, recorded at the same time as the lead mix, but which has remained unreleased until now. It takes a deep classic even deeper dubbing out syllables of the vocal over a reverberated version of the  now familiar half-time rhythm of the original mix.

Introductions to Joop Junior - our next guest for DJ Mix series, closing in episode number 515. Keeping it on the low and having an outsider outlook, Joop had been an influental figure in techno scene for a while now. Richie Hawtin's Minus, Dubfire's SCI+TEC, John Digweed's Bedrock and 2000 and One's Bitten had been blessed with his music; Crobar in Buenos Aires, Output in New York City, Showcase in Paris, Lantern in Beijing have witnessed his spiritual techno sound in action; Time Warp, Awakenings, Family Park gave the opportunity to spread the word into masses. Each live performance gets Joop deeper into the sound, securing his position in techno premiership, each heavily-supported release helping him to find his own sound, his own ideology, his own technique. His own space.

Joop's music is one step closer to God, almost religious experience. He is not interested in trends. He does not believe in hype. To fully understand his sound, you just have to be there, in the moment.

Today's mix is something really special. You are being invited to The House Of God (@thogchurch). Sending chills down your spine with the cleansing power of electronic prayer sung by the machines. Within this hour you are getting to know Joop Junior's alter ego Foul Play - a collaboration of his with  Fabian van Heusden, who goes under the moniker DJ Firmware (@firmware). Can you believe that this kind of sound had been inspired by 50 Cent's In Da Club? I am not making this up, these are the words from the man himself. This mix is a tentative preview of their upcoming album - you heard it here first!

Music is my life; very early on i became aware that beats, drums, chords & some vocals gave me the inner peace i craved;
techno pounding through my headphones made every hair on my body stand up. During the years that I was behind the turntables while 100s and ravers went crazy on the dance floor to the tunes from my record bin, I immediately knew that this was the one thing I would want to do for the rest of my life. The last year I flew in to make this dream a reality and started producing myself with the DJ experience in my backpack.
