For our tenth instalment, we are pleased to bring you a hard-hitting set from Yossef Chahid Díez AKA THE SLAUGHTER. The Spanish-Moroccan artist is currently based in London, but started DJing in 2013 while based in the north of Spain. The adventure began by playing in his home towns local clubs as well as organising illegal raves. During his initial years, his DJ sets were extremely influenced by the dark techno music and electro sound, becoming hard, darker and faster as the years have progressed. Year after year he has developed an exquisite music library securing his skill set as a music selector. In 2018 Díez took on the alias The Slaughter and started focusing on the  Hard genres of Dance Music. Industrial Hardcore quickly becomes his weapon of choice, amazed by the pure rage, forcefulness and obscurity of the sound. He went on to make his debut as The Slaughter for Jaded at Corsica Studios in October 2019. He then Founded Distortion Events, and with a consistent Podcast series will end up rocking the Underground scene in collaboration with other collectives from the other side of the Atlantic as well as collectives from Europe. In addition to this, he started a Sound Engineering and Music Production degree at the London College for Contemporary Music, in order to take his craft to an even higher level.
