Psychedelic Pioneers

We arrived at the 8th episode of our psychedelic pioneers series, with one of the first dark psytrance projects in history, Parasense (@parasense). Created by the Russians Alexey Kurkin (Alex) & Victor Zolotorenko (Zolod) in 1995, young friends with one objective: make the most psychedelic music possible. Not much longer after the project creation, they started to conquer the world with multiple albums and singles, playing at the major electronic festivals and changing the psytrance world. They created a style for a generation of artists that wouldn't exist without the influence of the duo Alex & Zolod's paranoic sensations. Legends never die.

To pay a respectful tribute to one of the psychedelic pioneers of the psytrance world, I have collected some of his most influential tracks on my life and for what they have inspire. 

Under many aliases, like Burned Processor, Deja Vu Fabrique, Freaking, Terminator, Aerodance, Big Noise, Parasense, and more, Zolod produced most of the psychedelic tracks that inspired a generation of artists.

This mix have only Terminator tracks, part 2 will have tracks from the other projects.

Zolod was ahead of his time, his creativity, skill, and dedication is something to learn about. Remain in peace Zolod, you will be eternally missed, but never be forgotten.

This is the second mix on the tribute series to the psychedelic pioneers, this time featuring Psykovsky (@user-200422804-497809901). With a unique style of presentation and  music production, his classic formation and singular way of interpreting his emotions are really the best part of it. Most people describe his style as "dark psy", much of his music is anything but dark. It all has this really intense, layered, maximal energy, but sometimes it's very melodic, even uplifting
