Release Info: 
The latest release from Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Alar and Asher Swissa to the label for their debut EP. Based in Bali, Alexander Alar aka Alar has been a fixture of the electronic music underground for over a decade. Initially operating under his full name, Alexander coined the Alar moniker in 2019 to focus on a deeper, more progressive sound. Success came quickly thereafter, as Alexander landed projects via Get Physical, Heinz Music, Siona Records and Zerothree. Meanwhile, Asher Swissa who is better known as psy-trance star Skazzi, has enjoyed a quick rise with his new moniker since unveiling it in 2021. Miss Monique's Siona Records has also served as a landing spot for the Tel Aviv resident, along with IbogaTech, Outta Limits and Space Motion Records. Now joining forces for the first time, Alar and Asher combine their creative powers on their Movement Recordings debut 'Safari'.

Title selection 'Safari' finds Alar and Asher taking straight aim at a peak time dance floor. Robust beats, muscular grooves and layers of finely tuned percussion set the course for aural enlightenment. Building momentum across the first act, it's a wavy, hook heavy arp which emerges, taking tension to a feverous pitch, flowing through wavy contours as timey drum flurries transfer energy into the main break. Cavernous in design and dramatic in execution, the centerpiece is striking as pyrotechnic synths and cross-cultural samples steal the air onwards to a thunderous finale.

The companion piece 'Munda' finds Alar calling upon the vocal talents of SevenEver. The duo deliver an ideal complement to its predecessor with wobbly, machine-gun style grooves and buzzing electronics providing the perfect backdrop for chanting, prayer-like vocals to work their magic. Prophetic yet emotive, the main break furthers the vocal narrative, before eventually getting washed away in favour of ceremonial drums and a wave of razor-sharp effects, ultimately setting in motion a thrilling final movement. It puts a resounding stamp on a huge collaborative project from Alar and Asher Swissa, who make their Movement Recordings debut a most memorable one.

Black Rose twenty-eighth EP comes from the Italian duo "Opposite Ways" with a stunning remix from the Italian talent "Ivan Masa", a remix from the Bolivian duo "Animal Print" and the amazing vocals from the singer based in Milan "Liam Guest". The original one from "Opposite Ways" is a train that never stops until first break literally make a silence moment than the vocals from "Liam Guest" enter in just like a thunder in the middle of a storm of emotions and vibrant energy. This one is the more techno groove version. Then we have a superb remix from "Ivan Masa" where the groove is more slow but with a lot of energy, here the main drop is anticipated by the vocals and then we find some laser bells with some leads characterized by dirty distorted sound design impossible not to dance. Then last but not least we find "Animal Print" remix, here the voice is put in more distance giving the groove more air, and an hypnotic lead drives till the first drop comes with toms that give a very distinct rhythm. In the second drop there is another atmospherical lead with a distorted sound at the beginning of the drop.

Opposite Ways & Liam Guest - Thunder (Original Mix)

'Breaking with conventions but not leaving the basic structure is how we experience Di Rugerio's new EP. Wout Records is pleased to present this powerful 2-tracker with two complementary remixes. 

"Sikelia" is lively, evolving from second to second and enjoying an insane bassline. It feels like a dream with the focused dark energy. Dizharmonia adds incredible depth to this track with a stunning remix. The remixer brings the synths to the front and skillfully places moving percussion in the background. 

The main track "Vita Nova" impresses with endless melancholic arpeggios, while the leads keep switching between classic waveforms and noises. Devinitively a club track with recognition value. The Voices Of Valley remix of "Vita Nova" is in no way inferior to the original. 

The remixers put in such wonderful chords here, dreamlike. Great EP with great remixes.'

Fourth release of the Spanish imprint OPENGATE SOCIETY, striking this time with another dark melodic track from the label owners Night Stories, with an amazing remix from the German artist Modeplex.

The name of the EP implies what the label is trying to achieve during it’s yet short life which is unite different artists from all over the world that are close in ideas and sound to create a fusion of sound and textures which is richer due this union.

For this release Night Stories present a techno track full of details and shades with an incredibly deep melody and a huge bass line that will make any dance floor rumble for quite some time.

On the other hand the German Artist Modeplex creates a groovier version of the original adding many elements in the mix to create a richer and brighter interpretation.
