The Advent & Zein Ferreira - Elektronically Minded EP [Cultivated Electronics // CE046]

Cultivated Electronics starts off its 2024 release schedule with an all electro family affair from father and son duo The Advent and Zein Ferreira.

"Elektronically Minded EP" is the first of two releases scheduled on the label from them this year. For this first instalment the pair turn in two tracks of expertly crafted production that pays homage to the history of the genre with their own modern twist.

The A side's "Basic Channelling" is given remix treatment from Robert Witchoski a.k.a. The Exaltics who steps up the gears with a 4/4-esqe rework in his signature style. To close out the EP, remix duty stays in the family with a rework of "Syncopated" (a track that features on the next EP) by nephew of Cisco and cousin of Zein, Torai, who shows that high-end electro production definitely runs in the veins of the Ferreira family.

We kick off 2024 with some sonic grooves from French duo Human Rebellion. Their 'Kosmik Trip EP' has four spacey, electro cuts with wicked remixes from Sync 24 & Co-Accused.

Human Rebellion launch the EP with the title track 'Kosmik Trip' a mind bending interagalactic destroyer. Sync 24s remix sees the trip take a dark turn with sinister vocals and hypnotic builds. Co-Accused take it into techno territory with a relentless, high energy take on the original. 'Censored Truth' opens the portal to the B side with free-radical synths intertwining with dark machine funk. The punchy drums in ' ' pull you towards a distress beacon, with face-hugging builds and chest bursting drops. Human Rebellion round off the release with the dystopian, driving sounds of 'Jupiterians'

Dirty Maria and Parule join forces as EVUL and bring you Unlucky Year. With a snippet of Otoboke Beaver's vocals morphed into a mesmerizing rhythmic vocoder synth, consistent percussions, wet hi-hats and a wonky bassline, the track creates an undeniable bouncy vibe for the audience.

Pull That Trigger from Kazakhstan born producer KRITECHNO is a relentless electro track infused with enigmatic vocal chops, squelchy background textures and a headbanging groove.

While we are at it, you'll find yourself nodding your skull once more as soon as the bassline from Steve Michael's Stamina hits. Combined with a catchy vocal, the track is made to drop your booty on the dancefloor.

TEZIBEL's 'Step Up.' Featuring sharp drum patterns, hypnotic synths, and her signature vocals. The track is telling a spellbinding tale of powerful melancholy.

A high-octane electro edit of The Carter's Apeshit by RIC49 engineered for maximum energy on the dancefloor. Crafted with a buzzing acid-type bassline, classic drum machine drums and a four to the floor switch midway through.

To round things up, zero's Tenoi pulls up the tempo once more and ventures into drum and bass territory. With a melody that ingrains itself into your mind, slamming drums and occasional chants of children, truly a one of a kind track!

DJ/EDM producer. Born In southern California, Raised in Tampa FL, Home Of Funky Breaks! Oracle has been rocking dance floors sense 1998. Getting his start at one of Tampa's landmark Late Nights The Groovy Mule, Along side some of Florida's biggest dj&Producers dj Thatcher, dj Mondo, Sharaz, Fixx, Tony Faline and many others. From there Oracle continued to master the craft of Mixology! 2000 Oracle teamed up with DJ Deity. These 2 Artist would remain dj partners for the next 12 years better known as the Duo Deity&Oracle. Togehter they held down a Resistacy on UnitedBreaks.Fm, One of the 1st Internet Radio Shows for catering to Breakbeats exclusively around 2005 Oracle met and Teamed with dj 303 and began a journey into music production. Along With DJ Deity Oracle and 303 combined to form the group O3D. with a very sexy and progressive take on Electro with that staple Florida breaks sound. After 10 releases O3D disbanded. Oracle&Deity then teamed up with dj Crucal from "The Untouchables" and created The Audio Alchemist. with several E-Hop remixes and Orginals AA
