Livejam  Arturia Microfreak sequencing Stylophone CMP DS-2 and playing its own melody. Microfreak through Korg NTS-1 with Sinevices Albedo Reverb. CPM DS-2 through Boss RE 20 + using its own Reverb. CPM DS-2 filters beeing manipulated through lfo and Koma Elektronik Koma Kommander by hand via CV. Recorded into AUM and normalized.

From sample to Song [Bottle in the Desert]

The whole song is based on a short drumsample from my Korg M50 you hear in the beginning.  I wanted to make a whole song with a minimum of resources, equiptment and time. That's was my personal challenge.

The  source-sample you hear at the beginning  of the song is  0,35 seconds long. Within Bitwig studio sampler, small fragments of the drumsample have been heavenly processed with filters, modulators, EQ and effects. A total of 16 tracks are used to make this  song. All in all, it took 7 hours on a rainy day.

Use good headphones for best performance.

Coming from drums and percussion I fell in love with Synthesizers, soon after I came across Apple's Garageband in 2004. Programming and playing Synths became a serious interest for me.
I am inspired by Sounds. Tracks are evolving out of Sounds , rhythms construct themselves through delays, modulated Filters and gated Pads.
Listening to these looping figures repeatedly, I begin to hear the missing Music between the existing patterns, notes and rhythms...
