Welcome to the world of Vek Neirbo. It's 6am in a basement filled with sweaty dancers. The room is completely dark, only lit by a faint red glow from lcd lights around the perimeter. Cigarette smoke and fog fill the room, while a massive Danley sound system pulsates eccentric and bass-heavy grooves through your body. You suddenly realize that the microdose of mushrooms you took earlier may not have been micro at all, as the moving human bodies surrounding you suddenly transform into dancing entities of light and love.

The sun begins creeping through the basement windows slowly as the music shifts with the energetic pulses of the sun slowly peaking it's light into a degenerate playground.

Is the party over? Hell no, it's only just begun.

Lazarusman has made a huge name for himself in the last couple of years with vocal features for Stimming, Jonas Rathmans, Joris Voorn and Huxley among others, quickly becoming one of the most recognizable voices of modern House Music with his slam poetry style. Here he is with a solo release. Are you excited? We certainly are. ‘The Signal’ is a song, or rather a musical poem about courtship in 2020. In his inimitable, contemplatative style, the young South African recounts the voice messages of a man to a woman after their first meeting. It is about infatuation, insecurity, the desire for a soul mate, shyness, wondering… and those blue ticks. The EP features ‘The Signal’ in three versions. Lazarusman’s original presents this lyrical piece of art on a deep, yet bouncing instrumental. With crisp drumming and an emotional synth melody, it works equally well for attentive listening as well as for dancing - if they let you. Both remixes here are by Jullian Gomes. His first version amps up the energy levels with heavier kicks and quick percussions but keeps the deepness with atmospheric, syncopated chords and far-away pads. Adding layers throughout, this remix is quite a ride. Jullian’s Vox Dub gets down to business in a straight, driving fashion, reducing the vocals to their very essence and letting the drum machines rock out, while still offering up a bed of floating harmonies for Lazarusman’s emotional words.

Release info: Miami to Detroit transplant, Silent Revolt, makes his debut on Eyedyllic Music with Dogmatik. The single also includes two remixes from Basti Grub and Demarkus Lewis. Here we premiere Basti Grub's psychedelic twist.

Speaking on how the release came together, Silent Revolt described how "Dogmatik was inspired by a conversation Ari Carlini and myself had one morning. After hours of deep philosophical discussion, I decided to record some of Ari's statements and went from there."

The docile tones of Dogmatik lead proceedings in a gentle fashion, as Silent Revolt's original sways softly between rounded pads and philosophical vocal samples that state "we're never gonna know it all", in to form a perfect summer chiller that provokes deep thought on our current times.

Crosstown Rebels inductee Basti Grub serves up a trippy remix and retains the easygoing nature of the original, adding a bit of psychedlic flavor, with a similarly subtle bassline that swiftly gets complemented by a pronounced kick-hat combo. This is a belter of a remix at nearly 10 minutes long!

It has been a busy couple of years for Miami-born Silent Revolt. Whilst he’s been active as a DJ since the eighties, 2019 saw him release his debut single, Who I Am, on Audiophile Deep, alongside co-launching the rapidly rising Moteur Ville Musique record label. A recent debutant of Crosstown Rebels, Basti Grub’s releases have found a home on Hot Creations and Get Physical Music over the years, a testament to his skill as a producer. 2020 has been particularly busy for Demarkus Lewis, with chart smashing releases on his own Grin Traxx, Plastik People and Viva Recordings to name a few. Demarkus' remix here precedes his debut release on Eyedyllic, coming later this year.

Eyedyllic Music is an Ibiza and NYC-based boutique label, co-founded and managed by Mik Santoro and Kev Obrien. Eyedyllic is the epitome of a passion project, focused simply on releasing what they consider to be "beautiful, authentic, and emotionally rich electronic music, of the deeper variety". 

The vast majority of Eyedyllic releases are projects that Obrien and Santoro have played a big part in creating with artists from early stages, through creative A&R direction and linking unlikely pairings of artists together, in order to sculpt music and releases that perfectly fit into the "eyedyllic" world they envision and are manifesting together. Eyedyllic is all about music that makes you feel.
