A special cover version of one of the best pop tunes ever made, designed to induce chaotic hands-in-the-air up euphoria comes from modular magician Jorg Kuning.

And a cathartic anthem from long time friend and collaborator takenbymarshall.

The compilation is topped off with a gorgeous slice of heavenly synth-pop from MCR based Infant, because real dancefloor hooligans are soft and tender and aren’t afraid to shed a couple tears at the afters!


About Gut Level:

Gut Level is a not-for-profit collective, community space & venue based in Sheffield. Starting off as a DIY nightclub in 2019, we've spent the last 4 years transforming unused ex-industrial spaces into cosey and cretionous queer autonomous zones, with activity that spans club nights, workshops, socials, communal meals and community activism. At the moment we're fundraising to renovate a recently secured permanent mixed use creative and social space in the heart of Sheffield, creating a members club and social space for the queers, angels and party freaks of Sheffield.

The artist's original track undergoes a graceful transformation in five distinctive new interpretations.

VIP Mix is steering away from progressive trance to infuse G-House, Trap, and 2000-10s bass music elements. The result is a warm, end-of-summer vibe with emphasis on rhythmic intricacies and infectious grooves.

Canelle Doublekick's UK hardhouse-inspired remix adds another layer of diversity, offering a brisk and diva-infused experience that is perfect for energetic club sets while HI ROSIE's remix draws inspiration from Shonen Bat's VIP version, delivering exceptional bass textures, crafting a hard drum-infused anthem tailored for expressive moments on massive sound systems.

Swooh's remix skillfully maneuvers between 4/4 and breaks, presenting a dynamic and efficient addition to the EP with its acidic electro infusion that leads to Zulu's epic electronic crossover concluding this piece with a masterful blend of contemporary styles resulting in an afro-emo-club ballad.

Split EPs are sexy, which is why W133 proudly presents W133D005 by Noti x Brandon Braun.
Noti kicks off the EP with "Dream," a tension-building, simple groover that pulls you into hypnotic states. 
If you find yourself lost too deep, don't panic, as his second track, "Future," will gently rouse you back. 
It's a lo-fi roller with unique percussion work and just the right blend of weird grooves and sounds.
On the virtual B-Side, we find three originals by Brandon Braun. 
"Destined to Meet" is a techno/house hybrid destined to become a summer hit. Uplifting synths and passionate vocoder vocals bring a smile to everyone's face. Following that, he presents two dubby techno tracks:  "Zero G" and, last but not least, "Memories". Both tracks are more dramatic and melancholic yet maintain a light and playful essence, serving as perfect closers for the EP.

‘The Immaterium is a strange and terrible place. You might as well throw a traveller into a sea of sharks and tell him to swim home send him through The Warp unprotected.’

With “Warp Sharks”, UK producers Eyeza and Diessa join forces for a blood-curdling 4-tracker. Inspired by Warhammer 40K characters and lore, this boundary pushing EP combines dark themes of the 40K world with heavy club-focused weaponry.

“The Warp” is an alternate dimension of chaos and psychic energy underlying the material universe. It is simultaneously understood to be a medium by which faster-than-light interstellar travel is possible. “Warp Sharks” could be said to evoke these elements; high-bpm drum breaks throughout the record emulate a sense of frenetic speed while manic synth progressions and energy blasts build towards a sense of peril. Within each composition, multiple rave-friendly genres are saturated under a blanket of distortion and impact. The record opens with “Karandras,” where eerie vocals, arpeggios and heavy drums flow in and out of each other, with intermittent waves of static and sci-fi warble. “Penitent Engine” begins the next phase: gritty wobbles and drum breaks combine under washes of dramatic ambience before teasing in and out of a heavy techno beat. The track morphs into something more vicious two-and-a-half minutes in, where stuttering breaks come to the fore, supported by kicks and 808s that swarm rapidly in elaborate club rhythms. The title track follows with intricate breaks steadily firing over heavy bass lines. “Nuns with Guns” concludes the record, where gabber kicks snap through dub inspired vocal chops and fluttering snares.

The record’s relentless energy evolves with every track, each composition seamlessly blending genres of underground electronic music. “Warp Sharks”, like many Infinite Machine releases, is unapologetically experimental, while remaining accessible to dance floors.
