So, here is our first manipuri composition 'Naoshum Eshei ( Lullaby )'. The song is from a compilation of various poems and songs by late 'Pabung' Arambam Somorendra tittled 'Arambam Somorendra Apunba Khorjei- Ahanba larol'. The song is dedicated to 'Pabung' from The Koi congratulating him on having his first grand daughter Arambam Laisana. Today, though he is not here with us in person, we deeply and very strongly believe that his light will always shine upon us to eternity. Yaiphare!!!! :P

glowing flames of fiery ember
haunting memory of wanting
you despite the cost
tip the golden chalice
till all inhibitions lost
leave nothing but skin
over your bones while
whispering in softest
under tone

I hang on every word
 amplified and allowed
every distant darkened cloud
in your mind of paranoia
blue and defined
See myself inside 
your harsh lines
