JFlames - Ready For Love (Feat. Ruinz Ason)

This is our first new music in two years - recorded in August 2021 at The Old Blacksmiths with Neil Elliott (Oxygen Thief, The Dawn Chorus) in our hometown of Portsmouth.

Originally we worked on a collection of songs that would form an album, but during the run up to studio time we decided to shift gear and settle on writing three new songs that would be pretty straight up, fun and positive rock songs.  

After enduring 18 months of struggle with the rest of the world, we felt we needed to try and put something uplifting into the world.

The song's mood was inspired by a scene from "Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" movie about The Caverns of Isengard that house furnaces and forges for the manufacture of weapons and arms by Orcs.

When my distributor received the track for publication, they couldn't believe all vocals are sung by the same person and even sent me a note: "we still need proof that this is your vocals".

In fact, a Roland's device named UA-4FX2 was used during recording to morph my voice to both low and deep and high pitched, resembling young boy's singing.
