This song was made on the advice to take advantage  of as many outlets as possible  to get heard and spread the message of unity. The crack epidemic hit the city of DC hard in the 80's and 90's and we have historical documentation of how it took down leaders in our communities. However out of the rubble came the next generation of leaders and builders in our community. Through Hip Hop we were able to document the struggles and accomplishments of our brothers and sisters. Our people survived the breakdown that crack was meant to implement; when they tried to burry us in the streets we squeezed through the cracks to make it to the top of several mountainous industries. Hip hop was born out of the struggle of the crack epidemic across the nation in black communities and it is now the leading aesthetic in many major industries. Hip Hop squeezed through the cracks and now we have a unifying tool to bring us together and express how we survive and accomplish our goals.

Warren Sation started out as an idea and eventually became a classic set of bars between me and a dear friend of mine summer 2021. I finished it yesterday
